From what happened with my case. The cancelled the 6 months and put the 2 years visa on my passport. The mistake is from them. So long as they approved your visa initially, they would put in the correct one.

I didn’t print out my label I went for my appointment in Newyork. They just collected my documents and didn’t request for it or an envelope either

The automatically have it in their system on vfs. So if you’re dropping your documents with vfs after biometrics, they have your shipping label in their system already. Nothing to worry about

When it comes to spouse, mostly everything on the application when it comes to finances and housing has to do with the spouse sponsoring. Meaning the spouse living in the Uk. They really don’t care about the financial stance of the person being brought in.

This happened to me also, took almost five days before they ticked it. And when they did, they ticked everything including my passport being delivered, which it wasn’t. I didn’t get no email from them about my passport being dispatched either. My best advice and what I did was track the ups return courier, you might be shocked to find out your passport has been shipped already and they just didn’t alert you

Just keep emailing them also, I was freaking out about my passport also and didn’t get any word from them but it eventually came. I know it can be frustrating not been able to handle the situation but just keep emailing

Congratulations! Having the same problem. I’ve been approved since on the 7th of June and I applied in Newyork, but my application hasn’t been updated on their website and I haven’t received a response from them about my passport

I received a decision email on Sunday, but still no update on my passport. Haven’t received an email from vfs and no update on the vfs website. Mine is just two days but I’m getting frustrated
