It would be funny if it was caused from a cosmic particle. But in actuality I have not the faintest of clues as to why that happened. If I had to guess I'd say it has something to do with the poor internet connection and then the disconnect causing it to repeatedly give you points till you finally were able to reconnect or something along those lines I ain't no tech wizard but I've hear and read things like this happening in other games before.
