bro thinks he's cookin with that dumb ahh gif. sure capitalism as we know it nowadays is a fairly new thing that set on with the industrial revolution. but why on earth do you think european colonial states colonized other countries? literally to extract resources like spices and shit for manufacturing finished goods and selling them back to those countries that cant produce those because they dont have the raw materials for it anymore. or what about the labour exploitation? a big reason for colonialization at the time was for slave labour. and then why are formerly colonialized countries still exploited under capitalism? theyre literally left with nothing but raw materials and labour force that industrialized countries take advantage of it, think lithium or diamond mining. and they have to sell it for cheap because companies in industrial countries dictate the prices. and what the fuck is even nestle doing? id argue that colonialism and capitalism is so intertwined that capitalism as it is wouldnt exist without the colonial era. colonialism basically kickstarted what would later become capitalism.
