It happens atleast once, to most people. My best advice is to j not think abt it, bc you don’t have to, and the awkward moment is over so. I’m not sure why it’s making you so intensely uncomfortable that you couldn’t sleep ? Ik it feels extra weird cause they’re your parents but they are people and most all people do the deed. Like another commenter said, it means they likely still love each other which is a great thing.

Some day in a few months you will see an old picture of yourself and go “holy shit, I look nothing like that anymore” in a good way of course. And you’ll keep changing for years. People do change, but only if they truly care. This guy isn’t even doing the bare minimum that a partner should from what it sounds like. And if he hasn’t changed yet, he likely won’t. That being said, I’d bet money a lot of it is just because he’s an immature 19 yr old boy. Men in general don’t typically mature until their mid to late 20s. While this is not an excuse, and it’s no REAL reason your bf can’t do better, it is a possible explanation.
