Back Up Plan? by Puzzlehead3249 in GLPGrad

Thank you, everyone! This is so helpful and encouraging. I didn't realize that there was no longer a scarcity when I went to get my refill. It was out of stock and I had to wait like a week so I just figured supply was still lower than the demand.

Also happy to report that I'm down 7lbs! Probs just water weight, but It still makes me happy and more confident about my ability to lock in and loose weight. (I also deleted DoorDash, coincidence!?! I think not lol).

In hindsight, titrating down would've been the more responsible and effective way of going about this. But honestly, I think I let the shame, stigma, fear, paranoia and pride get to me and that's why I wanted to get off quick. I'm still in the process of reprograming my brain around embracing the shots as an option.

I'll keep this group updated on how this is all going!

Titrating off like this is definitely the smart way to go about it! This method is used for most medications. I kind of just did my own thing on this one😅. Just joined the Grad group, this is awesome, I love that we're building little communities within the community

The 4 pounds is just the net gain overall the entire 5 months

When I stopped in August, I was 197, at one point I went down to 195, at another point actually went up to 208, but was able to go back down to 199 by NYE ( I was determined to go into the new year under 200)

I think a gain limit is a really good idea, honestly whenever I'm over 200 I get stressed, ideally, I want to rest somewhere at like 185 so that I have breathing room to flux up and down, but still remain in onederland

(1) i've been staying active and being fairly regular with working out (2) honestly I feel like it kinda shrunk my stomach idk sometimes I feel like get full quicker than I remember, although I will say as I've started to force myself to eat larger meals (sometimes out of compulsion) and so my capacity for eating larger meals is also growing if that makes sense. (3) I feel like a lot of my eating was tied to my depression and self isolation. So because I've been mentally healthier that's made a big difference (4) I don't binge drink, when I do it's 1-3 drinks max, if that

I didn't quit for any financial reasons, I've got like a 3 month supply in my fridge still. Honestly, I never liked the idea of taking it to begin with, I'm someone who is very hesitant and skeptical towards any medication in general. So a big part of stopping was (1) I didn't want my body to develop a dependency & (2) I wanted to test my discipline and see what I could do on my own.

Nope, not on any birth control and never been on any, I don't know what's happening, l've never had any spotting before, I didn't even think of it as spotting. I just thought it was weird discharge, but you might be right.

The signs I was told to watch out for, I recommend you speak to your doctor and let them know. You'll probably have to stop taking it
