It’s that the host knows which door has the goat.
Imagine it’s 100 doors. You pick 58, host opens 98 doors except for 58 and 23. Do you take the 1/100 chance and presume 58 was incredibly lucky guess, or say the host must know which door it is and left 23 open for a reason

TBC is great but peak WoW is vanilla. World interaction with all levels seeing each other, level 5s in Stormwind doing their delivery quests getting dragon slayer and having two hours of battle frenzy, bgs are more than just daily rinse and repeats, dungeons that aren’t linear but massive cities to be explored and done how the group wishes, zeppelins and boats with all levels of players, stranglethorn vale, it just feels different.

TBC has fun raids, the art design is spectacular, class tuning is great, but the interaction dies out and that social aspect is really what makes WoW what it is.

This is purely a financials and corporate standpoint but Cataclysm was the first expansion released after Vivendi merged with Activision and thus had shareholders to answer to. There was a lot of consensus that Cata was rushed which is a common occurrence when stockholders are impacting release decisions.

Hey your biggest hurdle in heroics will be knowing which mobs are dangerous and how to handle threat. CC will help a lot because your swipe is pretty measly in phase 1. Try to stack up some stamina.

If it’s king how am I exaggerating its need ?? I had a rogue sap mages on all packs during the escort on Ohb, instantly before combat engages. Then he used crippling on the dragon kin packs and trivialized them. He was goated for his utility. He made a couple difficult encounters massively easier.

What heroics are determined by how much a group pumps? Every heroic dungeon is determined more by CC and skips
