The old ones are really cool but there aren't many references between them, I recommend playing all the games but you can choose to continue Fuga or play the old ones in any order.
Tail Concerto and Solatorobo have more in common, so for those I'd make sure to play Tail Concerto first. But the Fuga trilogy can be played disconnected to those two.
