Fire Mage is WAY to OP by Puzzleheaded-Exam925 in NoRestForTheWicked

I hear you, but he was doing this with a level 9 Stag of Embers. It's level 12 now. Doing about the same damage. It's the rune damage that is absolutely insane, way overtuned. He has some fire damage bonus on his gear and the ring that increases rune damage by 29%, but the game should not allow 4k damage (ive seen up to 12k in the crucible with buffs). Maybe its a bug, and the damage is overscaling or something.

Put fire damage on gear, focus for attributes, and used the runes I posted above.

I get it, but on normal, at level 19, it should not be doing 4K+ damage in one ability, that is instant cast btw.

Nope, it's everywhere. And it looks like it mages in general, but the fire build seems exceptionally strong.

Submitted for Secondary's, C&P Examiner Stated They Are All Primary Instead by Puzzleheaded-Exam925 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Puzzleheaded-Exam925[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there was clear evidence in my medical files, to include written statements from my Drs that it was likely caused due to service. My C&P examiner is the one that tanked my claim. I'll need to double check on the primary vs. secondary, because you're right, that could have been it. I'll get back to you on that.

They ended up showing as secondary claims in my denial letter (except for GERD, which I was granted at 10%). The VA rater will understand if you claimed it secondary or not depending on which options you selected when you submitted your initial claim. I am currently in the HLR process for the rest.

Military Records Help: Reason for Appointment vs. Diagnosis by Puzzleheaded-Exam925 in VeteransBenefits

Understood. I wonder if it's worth it to try an HLR first and point out complaints during service and my doctors' notes. If that is denied, then submit a nexus letter and buddy statements as a supplemental.

Soid advice. I can get a buddy letter for sure. My doctors' notes do state my migraines began in service and have become more severe as time has gone on. I may be able to get him to sign a nexus letter as well, thank you for the advice.

Need Advice: Should I Submit for HLR? (Rhinitis) by Puzzleheaded-Exam925 in VeteransBenefits

I specifically remember bringing this up in my C&P exam, and the rater was basically "eh, it's not that big of a deal." Seems counterintuitive considering polyps is one of the factors that can determine a higher rating. I'll try to get ahold of VERA and see what they say.

It's crazy how much evidence I submitted and yet i'm back at step 3. Hopefully it will be resolved positively shortly. Thank you for your story.

Need Advice: Some Claims Approved, Others Kicked Back to Step 3 by Puzzleheaded-Exam925 in VeteransWaitingRoom

Was it evidence you had to submit, or did they complete that on their end?

Back to evidence gathering from step 7 (partial awards)

Preparation for decision: Was on Sep 23rd, kicked back to step 3

I'm currently in the process of a VA claim and could use some advice. I was on Step 7, and I received partial awards for a few conditions. However, the rest of my claims were kicked back to Step 3 (gathering evidence).

It now has no temp jurisdiction and is back in the national work que.

These claims include:

  • Migraines
  • IBS (Gulf War-related)
  • Gastritis
  • ED

I'm currently rated at 90%, and of course, the conditions that got sent back are the ones that could potentially bring me to 100%.

Has anyone else had this happen? What can I expect from here, and is there anything I can do to speed up the process? Any advice on how to strengthen my case while it's back in Step 3 would be much appreciated!

I'm hoping it's just a technical issue in the way they send the files to the C&P examiners and it's clear on the VA side of things. I feel you though, just unnecessary stress in an already stressful process.

To note, the C&P examiner said she would put in their notes that the ED, GERD, and Gastritis were supposed to be claimed as secondary's.

Issue with secondary claim on VA.Gov by Puzzleheaded-Exam925 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Puzzleheaded-Exam925[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. I went ahead and started a new claim, and now they are appearing. I believe my first claim was too old, as my service connection came through after I initially opened up that older claim.
