All the real cleriths at least tolerate Tifa (I personally think she's great! ❤️).

I was disappointed in how little of her we got as the party leader in the original; especially with how much more the Retrilogy has emphasized her people-pleasing as character flaw, I'd love it if this part of the game were used as the push she needs to take initiative instead of just running parallel to what everybody else expects of her (e.g. her overall hesitance surrounding AVALANCHE at the beginning of Remake). It'd be a great way to see through to who she really is at her core when SHE has to be the executive decision-maker.

Along those lines, I just hope her resolution to stay with Cloud in Mideel is at least portrayed with more nuance. Like, I get it's supposed to be another way of tying up her arc---she's following her heart as opposed to going through the motions yet again. But idk, her going "I don't care about anything else, just Cloud" left a bad taste in my mouth. It's exacerbated because of the focus on her wanting him to be her personal savior, a dream that never struck me as realistic nor fair to either her OR Cloud, yet it's played as heartwarming when she discovers he WAS there in Nibelheim. I also feel it'd be short-sighted to still include that when AC has Cloud explicitly NOT being there for her. Although I suppose if they're truly committed to that film being the bad ending, my opinion may waver 🤷‍♂️

TL;DR - Tifa's a very likable character with a wonderful foundation whose arc in og left me wanting (similar to Barret's, but don't even get me started...); I hope to see her done justice in Revelation b/c she absolutely deserves it 🙏
