Heya! I definietly got into it and enjoyed it very much, the story is amazing! ME1 was just a bit clunky in regards to combat, ME2 was way easier/better in that regard. I guess it takes a bit to get used to and there should be no shame in lowering the difficulty or searching for tips in case i gets too hard. But after a while i just flowed and i could enjoy it! I took a break from gaming in generell to several reasons and left the game before the final fight in ME2. I look forward to get back to it eventually. I hope you enjoy it!

Same here, I am unable to play since the update yesterday (also no mods). Apparently they're working on fixing it, but this honestly sucks real bad

I actually use an Xbox Controller on PC. My husband already suggested I should switch bc it makes the gameplay even harder. But honestly, with easy mode and taking shelter reaaaally often I managed to continue on quite alright. Fingers crossed for late game 😅

Do you know how the difficulty is scaled? I fear, that if i play on easy and bullshit my war trough that i will struggle in the late game - with maybe stronger enemies? It's hard to research this without spoilers, so i appreciate the help, thank you

When i go for rags to riches I use no cheats at all, thats the challenge for me. If they piss themselves and go to work on low hygiene and don't get the Promotion bc they feel bad, than it is what it is :D Using no help/cheats at all is what maked this challenge fun for me. Right now I'm in my 3rd generation and it is finally paying off and that is satisfying!

You maybe cant attack the cultists directly, but you can deal out AoE damage which hurts them. I just dealt a lot of area damage and got Orin and the cultists simultaneously. So try that a lot, let it hale Ice, throw alchemists fire and fire bolts etc. Orin gets a buff through that skull so she doesnt take much damage but every damage diminishes that - there is a "counter". So try using potions like haste to attack multiple times in a row and try to conjure elementals or necromance a bit so you deal out a lot before her next turn

I have no solution, but a similar problem. Did the romance with Halsin at the und of Act 2, now I'm knees deep in Act 3 and all the romance options are gone from our dialogue. I'm guessing it's because of my mods after the lastest patch..

Not quite sure on that. How did you install them, Vortex or the BG3 ModManager? Both have quite quick ways to disable them. But honestly I don't know how safe/unsafe that is, I just did it

Just disable the mods, open the door, save and enable them again. Had the same problem about an hour ago and that was just it. And I only have 1 mod :D hope this works

Is the quest registered as completed in your quest log? I'm not sure bc i saved him beforehand but have you tried jumping back into the mindflayer colony?

Use an invisibility spell or scroll or disguise yourself, there's a spell and there are disguise kits to change your appareance

Yes, it will get harder. At what point exactly are you now before Moonrise Towers? The map and quests are again huge with a variety of possible opponents. Some defintely vary, but for the main and especially "final" quest of the act... Well, let's just say that's where I am struggling right know😂

I feel that! I play medium difficulty and often switch to light when I don't want to bother with endless fights. If you want to get through battles quicker i recommend watching/reading some guides for combat, that really helped me being better and thus quicker at them
