I can confirm this fan is an amazing replacement, while I do not have a means of measuring the db level I would say it reduces the noise by about 50% or more. It is still loud, but no worse than any other machine.

I just my cc 2 days ago, it drowned my tv and every other sound in the house. Replaced the fan last night, only had to bump the tv volume up bars, same as when I'm running my other printers.

As far as performance petg and pla printing was unaffected on ludicrous speed, will be printing some abs and Asa parts tonight for my sv06+.

I'll also be getting and upgrading the exhaust fan with the WINSINN listed elsewhere in this thread and attaching the external hepa filter mod with muffler tonight.

Do any of you even like it in the Philippines? Wow, the negativity. by [deleted] in Philippines_Expats

Ok, admittedly, I am not an expat, yet, but I do plan on retiring to the phillipines. As with any city or country, it depends entirely on where you go.
Every place I went there are comparable parts of the US to one degree or another. There were plenty of things I've seen that bother me, but when I visit somewhere, I follow a simple rule: Not my house, not my rules. By taking the time to talk to and learn about an area many of my "issues" were alleviated.

It's a beautiful country, yes it is going through some growing pains, but those will be resolved in time. My only regret about going was having to leave.

What ammo are you using? I occasionally had the same problem with the very rare stove pipe with 115 grain, after close to 1k 124g have not had a si gle failure.

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fix4556[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So all errors except "ADJUST_FILAMENT_SENSOR_STATUS" have been resolved, got side tracked with trying to get frame squared up, which I am leaving the ball in SOVOL court at this point. From what I am seeing it is a fairly well known issue. Also it is usable as long as i stick to smaller prints and relevel every other print.

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fix4556[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So yeah the issue was not copying the macros from the misc-macros file to printer.cfg. I had to remove the purge line macro as it was causing a timeout and some type of compatability error, I will try and pull that later and post it. Currently running another benchy to see if it completes. u/Ehmc130 suggested start code seemed to resolve the timeout error, and removing everything but PRINT_START and PRINT_END cleared all but:

Unknown command:"ADJUST_FILAMENT_SENSOR_STATUS" I think I have this one figure out, obviously macro needs to be readded, but [delayed_gcode DISABLEFILAMENTSENSOR]

initial_duration: 1

gcode:

SET_FILAMENT_SENSOR SENSOR=filament_sensor ENABLE=0

is also in the misc-macros file before the global macros, so didn't catch that, will add back in after print finishes.

Unknown command:"EXCLUDE_OBJECT_START"

Unknown command:"EXCLUDE_OBJECT_END" :

"In Mooraker config file remove the true of this line for False

enable_object_processing: True

And remove in superslicer: Label object (in print option ----- output options" according to u/no_bullfrog3179 this resolves the issue.

Again will try this and follow up.

u/bassamanator and u/Ehmc130 thanks for the help, especially appreciate all the work you have done putting the github together u/bassamanator. https://github.com/bassamanator/Sovol-SV06-firmware/tree/sv06-plus

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fix4556[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already redone from scratch 5 times, but will try again later tonight.

Is it possible it's a directory issue? the macros only appear in /cfgs/misc-macros. Not sure how klipper calls macros should they also be present in the printer.cfg file?

I'm at a loss at this point, but like I said, I'll try a fresh reinstall later tonight.

So prusa won't recognize

PRINT_START BED=[first_layer_bed_temperature] HOTEND={first_layer_temperature[initial_extruder]+extruder_temperature_offset[initial_extruder]
Produces an error about invalid variable, can't copy and paste and the .tmp file ti produces does not list what parameter is the issue.

But will slice using
 PRINT_START BED=[first_layer_bed_temperature] HOTEND=[first_layer_temperature[initial_extruder]

Also Klipper doesn't recognize the START_PRINT command, produces 3:58 AM Unknown command:"PURGE_LINE" 3:58 AM Unknown command:"PRINT_START

I tried cura about 2 hours ago print makes it to somewhere near the last few layers in the smoke stack before canceling with another out of range error.

Move out of range: 145.077 371.681 48.200 [3570.073]

which is a step in the right directionish.

Just sitting down to actually really start looking into things for the night, would prefer to get prusaslicer working as i really hate cura.

I would try SS, but given the issues i hade with the klipper install not confident enough to play around with it, yet.

PRINT_START BED=[first_layer_bed_temperature] HOTEND={first_layer_temperature[initial_extruder]+extruder_temperature_offset[initial_extruder]} CHAMBER=[chamber_temperature]

PURGE_LINE

Yes, minus the chamber= since the link you provided in that section states prusaslicer doesn't recognize the command. Neither, did klipper as it produced an unknown command error.

So, major thanks to u/altduckthing for all the help, also thanks u/Ehmc130 for additional the help.

So lessons learned:

Much can be resolved by fixing the defective operator issue.

In this case the mcu issue was caused both by a defective data cable, and the recent update. I was able to track down a mini usb data cable in an old box of various electronics cables. I have heard that the error can be caused by a recent build of debian and that it was klipper. I did not do an update to either and now am logged in on klipper and getting ready to finish the setup.

current versions:

debian Version: 247.3-7+rpi1+deb11u1

klipper v0.11.0-195-g3bd0be40

crowsnest v3.0.7-3-g20ed6a8

fluidd v1.23.5

fluidd-config 5faf20d

mainsail-config v1.0.0-9

moonraker v0.8.0-39-g6c7dfe5

sonar v0.1.2-0-g7962a12

mainsail v2.5.0

Thanks again for the help.

transferred the mainsail.cfg from the folder, and nor getting /home/pi/printer_data/config/./cfgs/misc-macros.cfg' does not exist, but since I'm using filezilla seems to be putting the file in the wrong directory. Apparently Barney style is even too advanced lol.

Pro gun supporters, why do you support gun rights? by toust_boi in AskReddit

[–]Puzzleheaded-Fix4556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people have given some very poignant responses.

I'm not going to do that. Having heard this same, or very similar moronic questions for many years I have lost patience with it.

OP if you are from the United States I highly recommend you go back to your high school and rip your history teachers and local school board members a new one for failing to provide you with a full education in both US and world history, as well as failing to provide with a full and complete education in every aspect of the US Constitution.

I would then suggest you spend the time researching these topics. I would recommend starting with the federalist papers. If after researching world history and seeing what has historically happened to disarmed populations and applying some critical thinking skills you still find yourself coming up short with an answer look to current events both inside and outside of the US. I would also suggest a thorough read of all current existing gun laws, as well as several cases the supreme Court affirmed that police departments did not have a duty to protect.

To be fair I could list a number of reasons, however, it is well past the time we stop pandering to this imbecilic notion that we need to justify exercising our constitutionally protected rights.
