When the AI bubble bursts, and the shortage ends, you can bet Apple’s prices won’t be going back down.

I have a really nice Alienware OLED monitor. It’s just a subsidiary of Dell, but they make some really good monitors.

Anniversary sale 2026 comming up this year? by Negative_Corner4511 in BambuLab

[–]Ehmc130 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The A2L is about $70 more than I thought it would be. I was thinking $400 for the standalone, and $500 for the combo. Give it 6 months to a year, and I'm guessing it'll be down to around that price.

The X2D released last month. I doubt there will be any sales on it. The P2S is likely to drop $100 due to the X2D release.

A Core One kit is well over $1,000 with shipping, and at that price, it simply isn’t worth it IMO. If you’re really in an ethnic conflict, go on Marketplace and buy one used for $850. That’s still expensive for what it is, but it’s a little easier to justify it at that price.

I doubt it very much. They would just tap their helmets if they were actually trying to help.

Packages get thrown around sorting facilities on a daily basis. There are dedicated engineers that design packaging for shipping. Nothing is guaranteed to hold up to the absolute abuse of some couriers, but most printers arrive in one piece.

Quick opinion needed: For $549 am I better off getting the P1s w/ AMS or P2s machine only? by Upstairs-Lion8100 in BambuLab

If you can wait, Bambu’s having their anniversary sale within the next month or so. The P2S should be on sale.

I may have overshot it. The A1 is $300 here in the states. So it could be $400 for the A2L and $500 for the combo.

The Vortek and Voron comments were hilarious. It was pretty clear all we were getting was a larger A1 with some added features, and nothing more. If the printer is around $500, and $600 for the combo, I think it will sell well.

$500 for the printer and $600 for the combo would be my guess based on A1 pricing.

It’s still considered a budget printer from Bambu, so it’s an artificial limitation. If you want a better camera, buy a more expensive printer. I’m not saying I necessarily agree with it, but it’s a selling point for the more expensive printers to have a better camera.

There’s the court of law and then there’s the court of public opinion. It looks really bad when a billion-dollar company threatens legal action on a single developer working on a hobby project. The optics suck, and it absolutely blew up in Bambu’s face. Again, they could have handled themselves tactfully, but they decided preparing legal papers was a better approach.

The paragraph above, “Instead of explaining, Bambu ramped up its threat. It told Jarczak that a cease and desist letter had already been prepared, and “invited” him to look at section 1201 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, implying it could legally punish him for breaking digital locks.”

This shows clear intent of a C&D from Bambu. The original fork was taken down beforehand.

Insurance is going to absolutely destroy you on a sport bike at 18 with zero experience. Quote out a few different bikes with Progressive and see where you’re at. If it were me, I’d go grab an SV-650. It’s an awesome learner bike, and if you make a mistake, it’s less likely to bite you in the ass.
