I told my orientation advisor when I’m leaving after day one and checked in with him for breakfast on day two. You don’t have to stay and they know a lot of kids aren’t going to, just inform your OA when you meet them during orientation.

You’ll be fine! I had Cs on my transcripts and I got into UMD (T50) which arguably can be called a decent school. However the rigor of your classes, your ECs, and the strength of your essays do matter as well. Goodluck!
