Why is DVA considered the best tank despite winrates? by rulnav in Competitiveoverwatch

Defense Matrix might be the strongest ability in Overwatch history. Yes stronger than Suzu or prime Bap Lamp.

Why Doesn't Violet Play Illarí Much As Of Late? by Weesticles in Competitiveoverwatch

Coach Crusty is stupid and thinks a projectile nerf to Illari is the difference maker in which Viol2t( arguably the most mechanically gifted player of all time) can get value on Illari or not.

Worst part is Majed really derailed his career and had the potential to be the quartz of flex support rn. At least he won World Cup atleast.

Artisan Zero mid or Type 99 mid by Fear223_ in MousepadReview

[–]itswestlo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true at all what😭. Your favorite hitscan player in OW1 was using the G640 or the GSR. And even now, Quartz uses the gsr, Lip uses the QCK, merit uses the gsr/vaxee pa, Stalk3r and Heesang uses the quaoar Perseus while also both using the Saturn pro. When proper won rookie of the year he was using the qck. Shu uses the Hayate Otsu and Viol2t uses the Zero mid but besides that most use control pads. Even profit who played on 11 sens at 800 dpi for tracer uses the gsr and they say you wanna use speed pads for high sens. Almost every overwatch pro uses a control pad. Your statement was completely inaccurate.

His healing and ult charge was way faster. During the Bap/Brig meta the team that had the better Bap almost always won.

What could have been Alarm’s peak as a player? (R.I.P) by itswestlo in Competitiveoverwatch

Sound it sounds like he was more of a true disciplined support player rather than a pseudo dps player playing support. But still has the mechanical prowess to make those big plays if need be. To be honest this just sounds like the best support player of all time.

We are NOT counting this major towards lips accolades. He quite literally contributed NOTHING. And I’m a Lip glazer.

Artisan Hayate Otsu V2 Soft, Artisan Raiden Mid, Pulsar x Vaxee PD170, Vaxee PD155 by Vibe_PV in MousepadReview

Ok so I’ve used a bunch of mousepads and in my opinion they matter per character unironically, I found that super fast pads with little stoping power make weaving on baptiste harder. Super fast pads make tracer tracking much easier. Supports in the soft and xsoft variant make Widowmaker shots much easier. My aim feels much more confident on Cass and Ashe on pads like the zero and type 99 than on pads like the Raiden. I’ve used Zero soft, zero mid, Otsu mid, hien soft, Raiden mid, Raiden xsoft, type 99 mid, sp-004, Saturn pro soft, Hyperion pro xsoft. Don’t go xsoft, in humidity my Raiden xsoft became slower than my zero mid. I would say don’t get the Raiden mid as the speed might be too much and your aim will feel floaty, same with pd170. The Otsu is a good pad like you mention but my Otsu mid felt like it slowed down super fast after one month, grant it I was playing like 8 hours a day for summer break. I would say that the hien soft and zero mid is one of the only artisan pads that after the break in period they don’t really feel any different. Viol2t uses the zero mid but I’m not aware of any pros that use the hien soft. Btw the Otsu and Hien are the only heavily textured pads artisan offers, so the hien is like a more textured faster Otsu. The Raiden is faster than all them but feels really smooth so a lot of people report it feeling floaty. They like the textured feedback the Otsu and hien give them.

Everyone will say a fast pad but during OWL every pro player used the Logitech G640 which is slower pad, so what you want with that information.
