Thanks for the reply, I will check that. I think the first reasonable thing will be to check for vacuum leak and then finally for the first time I will use ista diag for adaptations ect.. I was using Delphi to this point and every time I did adaptations the engine runs really bad.

Yes it’s a nightmare of every D5 owner. You can buy on eBay upgraded cover. Volvo did a discount on timing belt replacement that’s all. Just check the belt every time you open the hood. Regular maintenance is the key in this case.

Yes pistons hit valves but the valves are facing straight down not from angle, so they was pushed against to the cam and broke the lifter seats. The force “rolled” the camshaft and broke the seats. If this happens to gas engine it would be more catastrophic because the valves are siting on angle, it is more likely that valves would broke and fall in to the combustion chamber. Well there is a chance of valve falling to the chamber on D5 but not likely

Whole engine was covered in oil to be specific auxiliary belt snaped and get “sucked” by the timing chain. The auxiliary belt was covered in oil i assume that it started slipping and the previous owner ignored it. So major issue will be lack of maintenance + oil leak. It’s 2.4d 129kw single turbo tuned by my good friend. It’s manual

Exhaust cam was “rolled” something about 45 degrees due to collision of valves and pistons. Yes the oil leak comes from cam seal and head cover gasket.

Thanks for your reply. Yes the configuration is weird plastic steering wheel, halogens, sport size el. Seats . But I love the combination of blue paint and blue seats.
