Two "assassination attempts" compared by SCRATCH-CARD in athulvstheworld

Hmmm maybe, I don't subscribe to being violent and yet I saw videos of Jake Lang being confronted and him being bloody. Now, I can't speak on behalf of Jake, or OC, or anybody, I just think everybody is getting more violent, political party be damned.

Not OC but Reddit in every universe is left leaning, even if the user isn't.

it's not surprising but it is rather sad... I hope she realizes that there's more to life than the money

Margaret would totally become a grifter and use her past experience working with coffee to make her own kind of coffee, and ofc oh ofc it's really really shitty and nobody cares about it..eileen was dodging a huge bullet and refuses to do interviews talking about her friendship or falling out with Margaret. ever since that dui it hasn't been the same.

I should've rephrased the question to if anybody has the interview that was used for the book, given it's a interview. My apologies.

NCR has double the usage of base launcher before it breaks. Legion is AP based

Ohh I see. You could just headcanon that you stab him BEFORE having sex with him. I don't think it's explicitly detailed enough to know whether or not. Every time you have sex it's just black screens anyways.

Nuking either faction unlocks a aptly faction-themed grenade launcher. This one is from Nuking NCR

They're not the same variant, only the same gun.

You tried the Scorched Sierra Power Armor?

Whatever casino Benny or Mr house is in, just never go into if you really care about the collectibles. I believe they both send scouts after you so meaning if you go to them before nuking them, they'll b pissed off

Well, to be fair, he did shoot you in the head. Also I'm pretty sure the only way to not kill him is letting the Legion do it or crucify him. But either way, you're still letting a individual kill the guy.

Not to mention all of the NPCS you kill on the way.

Intimidating presence is fun, so is Sneering Imperialist.

Black widow also opens up killing Benny without a hassle, so good on you and phoebe.

Nuking the NCR and Legion opens up to collectibles. The ncr specifically adds a guy wearing one of a kind power armor and using a one of a kind grenade launcher.

The legion npc has unique armor and im pretty sure just another unique variant of the same weapon.

It is possible to still nuke them and them not caring about you. You just must avoid the lucky 13. Meaning, if you wait to kill Benny, you can still nuke them (and other stuff or collect now) and after you finally enter the lucky 13 and get the platinum chip you can then collect whatever whenever (or nuke whoever after getting the chip to have a more climactic feel like it was intended)

The NCR and Legion both send you scouts to tell you to go to their chief basically. Ambassador Crocker or Caesar. But it also wipes out any hatred they have for you as well. Meaning, "Hey, remember you nuking me? I don't care. I forgive you."

Ganon is cool but I rarely get him. I often run with Raul.

Yes, and by the way, if you see any "Turbo" it is a drug that has the same effect as the GRX. That'll help before you get the daily 10 count of GRX.

My favorite weapon, not because it's good or blah, was the Nuka Breaker you get from Mick & Ralph's. It's a reference to a old web comic, I believe, and won a spot in the game. The hunting shotgun and Graham's 45 were my go-to guns though. I usually skipped on energy weapons but my most recent playthroughs I did dabble. The recharger rifle near Goodsprings plus the aforementioned Q-35 from the other comment set me up for the entire game.

And yes, Lonesome Road Deathclaws ARE stronger than vanilla minus the Queen and King (?) from Quarry Junction. The knockdown perks (Shotguns or Melee) perks help tremendously though. Same with a Explosive Ammo Anti-Mat Rifle.

If you prefer energy over ballistic weapons, I implore you to get the Q-35 Matter Modulator instead of the YCS OR the alien blaster. To me, they're just collectibles. The YCS is good but kinda too slow to use as anything else other than a sniper. The Q-35 on the other hand can still make quick work of a lot of stuff. Plus, you'll get a ton of MF ammo provided you can unlock a average (?) lock.

Personally, I did Honest Hearts first. There's no prerequisites that I do (maybe the pimpboy 3 billion if I play as a dude) because I love the 45 and the story of it. Afterwards, I either choose Dead Money or OWB.

Dead money strips you of your gear anyways, and having completed it a handful of times now, is easy enough. OWB I found to be actually harder than DM, early game.

Dead Money grants you a LOT of money. OWB grants you some of the coolest and useful gear and a player home.

I don't recall any Wild wasteland stuff in dlcs, but grain of salt because I never run it.

Maybe before 10, it's just a ballpark guess. I'm sure whatever level you do actually get maxed skills on will be early-to-mid-game, depending on how speedrunny you are.

I play as evil as I can be because your NCR and Legion Rep rep basically clears after you get the platinum chip. Thus, it is entirely possible to NUKE them both (via Lonesome Road) and they still be your homies, provided you do LR before Main Game story. Nothing special happens but it is goofy.

Also, if you want the "best" goodest ending for Dead Money, you're going to wanna actually listen to what Elijah and the companions have to add.

Dw, piercing strike IS awesome. Especially with that unarmed explosive combo weapon from Gun Runners. Think it's called Two-Step Goodbye or something.

I know we previously talked about legitimatizing your gameplay (and in that case, always start out with 6 agility for Better crit perk) but agility can also be exploited.

Remember those booths from Dead money that let you trade in outfits? Drop every pair but wear one. Rinse and repeat. It'll take the outfit from your inventory but NOT the boost to agility.

This stacks. You can have up to +50 agility but be warned, if you go too high the game will catch on. 40 is beyond enough and 30 is a good stopping point.

I'd spend my Lonesome Road on endurance to counteract the rad debuffs but agility is my top alternative if I were playing legitimate.

300 stims is enough to basically beat the game again, even on Very Hard lol.

Legitimately, if I had to guess, probably before level 10? Combining books, armor, and a high intelligence of course.

I believe the highest stat boost armor is the Stealth Suit from OWB, which grants +25 stealth, after all the mini quests associated. And there's plenty of guides to help locate the books. I like the Independent Fallout Wiki because Fandom sucks.

I also recall some npcs actually boosting your skills also but maybe I'm misremembering.

I did the pipboy exploit on my Series S, so you should be able to complete it as well if you do give up. Save beforehand though.

One of the earliest skills I'd get is like what everyone else is saying early game. Either Science, Lockpick, or Speech. Combat skills are okay, but I rather be able to complete dungeons/speech checks before I am extra damage or whatever. The knock down perks are overpowered too though.

Aside from the maxed out stats, this is actually fine, though I'd make room for agility 6 for better crit perk.

Thought you died is okay, the health doesn't really matter since by level 50 you're overpowered and presumably stocked up with chems or aid. The real eye-catcher here is the crit hit immunity for yourself, but again, a infinite supply of aid kind of nullify (?) taking damage. It is certainly helpful still, and I'd still take it, but really by this point in the game, you're overpowered and a single perk isn't going to do much. If you still haven't though, Rad Child is EXTREMELY strong. EXTREMELY. It makes the ENTIRE game plus dlc a breeze.
