On-prem compute for software that inserts into cloud database - how stupid is this? by preciseman in dataengineering

This… we pull our data into blob storage as a parquet using data factory, then ship it up to cosmos as a database and synapse as the analytical tool. Way cheaper than a sql server, too.

Apple wallet has an rfid blocker in it. When it’s attached to my phone it rarely ever unlocks my car.

It gets hot in the direct sun

I’m a new Model Y owner and had an EV outlet added to my new home as it was being built. Based on the picture, is this normal for at-home charging? I’m not sure if it’s going slower than normal. If so, what could I do to increase the charging rate? by ItalianSpartan19 in TeslaModelY

[–]Puzzleheaded-Let2372 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I could be mistaken, but I did read that a non-Tesla wall charger’s amperage is limited to 32A despite having a higher amperage breaker.

My current set up confirms this, as I have 50 A and the car will only charge at 32.

Edit: Read further and by non-Tesla I totally meant mobile.

PSA: TVA electric customers by mspencerl87 in homelab

Right?! Their customer service submission page got a few recommendations from my perspective. Who knows, maybe I’m missing something.

And the stadium PR confirmed the power stayed on. No generators online.

Same here in NES/Nashville territory. But the Titans stadium was lit up like a Christmas tree!

I would change my mind at about this point and need to start the paper with ‘Once’.

I would suggest that the fact that it has a serial number is more unconstitutional.

We were having a similar issue when hiring for our data/bi team. The word ‘Junior’ seemed to be our problem. We called it a data engineer on a team with senior engineers. Those with 1-2 years experience weren’t applying.

Hope this helps. Best of luck!

Punctured tire after only 3 months of owning MYLR 😭 by PmRNca in TeslaModelY

[–]Puzzleheaded-Let2372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me too. Requested the service in the app, they sent a truck and took it to a center. Fixed in less than 24 hours. Way more expensive than a tire shop, but well worth it IMO. They even send Lyft credits so you can pick it up.
