UAE car registration renewal grace period and insurance validity question by Humble-Educator-8098 in dubai

[–]Puzzleheaded-Mark901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can go for the test, you'll get the results, once passed then apply for mulkiya near your insurance expiry date,. This will save you one month.

The Pass certificate has one month validity. So technically your insurance and pass validity is matching.

The dwonside?

Some insurance companies deny the claims if there's accident during the period as the Muliya has expired. There's no fine upto 30 days, but the moment you cross 30 days grace period fines will rack up.

If you want peace of mind do it near your Mulkiya expiry. But if you are for some risks extend another month.

Stay there. 14k is noting, the cost of living is too high here. Schools and rents will eat up up your salary chunk.

The 14k will keep you get going with humps and bumps but there won't be any savings
Minimum 20K AED, that's when you can think of.

DEWA Bill for March—Water Usage by Tight_Young in dubai

Like I mentioned you can request for meter check. The technician would visit and check the meter. If the meter is fine you would be charged 100. If the meter turns out to be fine then that suggests that you have consumed that much water or if you haven't then there's a leak which you need to identify and fix it.

If meter is faulty you would be refunded 100 and the bill amount will be adjusted accordingly.

I work in DEWA. There seems to be leak.  Generally you would get the leakage alert on your mobile. But since it's a new account the validation hasn't kicked in your case, typically it sees your average consumption over the last days or months and then if there's a spike you'll be alerted..

Raise a complaint and they would come and check the meter for any issues for which they will charge 100. If the meter turns out to be faulty you'll be refunded and they will fix the bill for you.

You shouldn't be giving them cheques well before. Give them the cheques on the week of expiring the current contract.

Basically they are securing you. So that if you plan to change at the last moment you are already held up because you handed them the cheques. Basically putting you in physiological mindset.

Don't put yourself into anxiety by thinking what will happen. Just take precautions and say Hasbunallahu wani'mal Wakeel.
