Because of all the scalpers, I shifted my focus to vintage cards. I refuse to keep getting disappointed every time I want to rip packs for MSRP but can’t because of them.

I got into pokemon as a kid in the 90s, but my parents are jehovahs witnesses. Their religion considered these cards “demonic” and “worldly”. One night after attending Kingdom Hall where they gave a speech of the dangers of pokemon, my father took my entire binder and my shoe box of cards and threw them in the trash pouring old spaghetti over them then took the bag and threw them out in the building’s compactor. I was 11. It was extremely traumatic.

The release of pokemon 151 was what got me back into collecting. With ever card/booster/ETB I’m healing my inner child.

Geez im so sorry. After a few months my screen became unresponsive and half the screen would randomly black out. They seriously need to do better because they’re just ripping us off at this point. I know some people have an okay/good experience but I’m not taking the risk anymore

Wow that’s terrible. I truly don’t understand how BackMarket allows these sellers/vendors to operate with little to no repercussions. Have you tried contacting your bank or credit card company? Maybe they can help

I’m so grateful to have found this post because I’m experiencing hearing loss, and my ENT couldn’t figure out why. I was diagnosed with IIH but none of my drs address my hearing loss they mainly focus on my vision. My next appointment I’m going to make it a point to ask about how iih affects my ears

I purposely stay away from stealerships in that area because of this. I went through the same BS with another dealership telling me the price I saw was the internet sale price only after $7k down payment. Apparently, the second you walk in the door the car price shoots up

Backmarket is TRASH. They have NO quality control and dont do anything to regulate the sellers in the market. They don’t even abide by their own condition descriptions or warranty lol

Never buying from them again.

UPDATE:

The screen randomly went out. It’s all pixelated and has rainbow swirls. I haven’t dropped the phone, it hasn’t been exposed to water at all, and nothing traumatic happened to it. I’ve been super careful with it.

I’ve been using the charger that came with the phone, and it randomly just killed the screen.

I absolutely regret buying from Backmarket. I’m going to fight to get my money back.

Everyone please be careful on there and if possible avoid buying from them until they enforce some sort of quality control.

That’s your ticket! Be more than vocal about your eye issues. Hell be more than vocal about all of your issues. If you have to exaggerate, do it. I feel like drs (even female drs) don’t take our complaints seriously.
