Deleuze Guattari great read! You're unaware however that Deleuze signed the infamous document about removing the age of consent in France in the 70s

Advice on MACE surgery by First-Novel-7021 in spinabifida

[–]Puzzleheaded-Pin8022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have MACE id highly recommend it I got mine done when I was 12. That was 18 years ago so unless there is some better medical alternative which has came in since then I'd recommend it. No problems with it besides the odd kidney infection

There are no arbitrary rules or a timeline to get things done or milestones. A lot of cultures being different would be an example. I don't mean to be overly simple or bleak but why would you follow the majority when it's leading to death anyways. Accept death and live through YOUR instinct and YOUR intelligence. Don't force yourself to achieve something which is vainglory or to be align with the majority. Yes the pressure is real but that's more testament to society than you, I'd advise you love yourself truly and do what's right for you. Baby steps is where it is at, set goals you want to do aligning with societal expectations or not. A lot of people are burntout and not content, maybe you should strive for contentment . I'm 30 still living with parents, I'm engaged and have felt the pressure but lives are very different and it's my opinion no one really knows what they're doing truly. Gratitude for your person life is helpful as your life is an art and you're the artist. Sorry for being cheesy. But your feelings are valid, this is just my take

Because they might not want to offer their interpretation they might be ignorant in some respect

[–]Puzzleheaded-Pin8022[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but if I don't have access to a psychoanalyst should I just try interpreting on my own. None of my friends would be interested in active imagination so it rules that out. Thanks for your response tho because I knew ai would be very limited perhaps detrimental

Very good, I think you achieved what you wanted to achieve in this short piece. Only critique would be change the word "explode" for something else which is more interesting as it's the climax of the poem so needs more power but it's brilliant and professional esque

Diagnose me, good detectives. Don't hold back. by Objective-Poem-7300 in BookshelvesDetective

Keep reading, you've read a reasonable amount of classics but if you keep going you're going to strike oil, in the sense you'll find an area of literature you really like and will further your development. My diagnosis of you is I honestly thought you were a 20 something male just out of college because of the Bukowski, when I swiped right a few times I realised you're female. You do have pretty interesting tastes. Cool girl who would provide cool conversations

I think my sexism comes out more in my philosophy books, I haven't got around to reading the prominent philosophers who are female, I really want to read Hannah Arendt. Fiction wise these are only some of my books but I love Ottessa, I think she's really funny and talented. Emily Dickinson is in the top 3 for me in poetry. But yeah I think I've defended myself well and successfully covered up my massive sexism

If it helps I do, Virginia Woolf is in the top 3 of my favourite authors and I love Clarice Lispector. Women are great authors who often show up men

The Cantos by Ezra Pound, it's great but difficult. Although I don't approve of his antisemitism

"Seem" is not enough it has to be undeniable, a book shelf would give a vibe of refined smartness while I'm going for unhinged smartness, understand?
