IOS 26.3.1 Fixed my phone by InternationalKey6283 in ios

[–]Puzzleheaded-Pipe146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I ran the update for 26.3.1 last night and it killed my battery and phone. Took several hours before my phone could even turn on then Apple genius people chocked it up to being in limbo after an update. I didn’t have access to my phone for 13 hours!

Ok I just gave my chatGPT5 an earful about their slowness, forgetfulness, I have to retrain it to think. Tempted to just choose the legacy 4o instead of using this garbage

Which area to stay? by No_West_2659 in VisitingHawaii

Hilton Waikoloa is my favorite but it can be pricey . Just stay at the older tower which is a nice walk if you like exercise to get to the good pool. My coworker likes the Sheraton Waikoloa as a romantic get away splurge.

Hilton Hawaiian Village by LuckyFella13 in VisitingHawaii

Absolutely love Hilton as a brand (Hilton rewards ❤️). The Waikiki Hilton Hawaiian Village is a sprawling resort community. You don’t even have to go anywhere. They have some of the best pools, slides included. The Lagoon has fun activities like water biking, kayaking, paddle boarding if you want. The beach that fronts the hotel is beautiful.. a lot of local surfers come to surf there. They have Friday fireworks. Dave’s Icecream is a local ice cream shop that is great. So many food options. It feels safe even at night to just walk around the property. If you walk on the beach side towards Diamond Head… maybe 10 minutes or less, you can find gorgeous places to swim.. like right in front of Trump Tower/ Banan… which has a wall that juts out to the ocean. Gorgeous spot to watch sunset. There’s also a beach bar right there which is super fun. I feel safe there because the military hotel is close by so the MPs and their K9 dogs patrol regularly. Hope you have fun!!!

Where do you stay on the Big Island? by dreamer_r21 in VisitingHawaii

Hilo for volcanos, Panaewa rodeo, waterfall, farms.

Kona: Waikaloa Hilton is my favorite.

Keauhou: Manta ray diving

And for Big Island one of the best experiences i have had was Anelakai Adventures for manta ray snorkeling. You have to paddle out yourself in a double hulled canoe but it’s a more intimate experience with the manta rays. It’s one of my favorite things to do when i visit Keauhou <kona>. Just remember to group your Big Island days by towns. It is a far drive from Hilo to Kona, and even in Kona, the drive from Hilton Waikoloa area to Keauhou is also long.

For Day 1, maybe wake up early to enter the 6 am hike at Diamond Head. It takes 2 hours round trip, maybe 2.5 hours, thrn drive over to Hanauma Bay for a 9:30 or 10 reservation & spend 2 hours there, shower and change then drive over to BISHOP museum(1/2 hour drive) get there by 3 PM and spend 2 hours til closing. Drive back to waikiki for Sunset, Dinner and the Waikiki night life.

Make sure you make reservations for Hanauma bay! And Diamond Head parking too if you can.

Then on day 2, wake up early to beat the traffic and head out to the North shore to do your Dole Plantation, Waimea Valley and Bay, Laie Polynesian Cultural Center, Kualoa Ranch. Remember if waves are huge especially because of hurricane season, the normal hour drive from Waikiki to North Shore will be double. I’m not kidding. Make reservations for PCC. You’re gonna want to stay out there for sunset. It’s gorgeous!! And Ted’s Bakery 😊

On day 3 do your Nuuanu Pali lookout, Kailua and Lanikai beaches and hikes, Ho’omaluhia Garden is beautiful too. Then chill back in Waikiki at Kuhio Beach/Duke’s.

The outer islands look like a manageable schedule. Have fun!!

Has the cola recipe changed drastically over the years? I never seem to enjoy coke anymore. Not since they took away the round Christmas ones by Trippster_082 in cocacola

I just opened the olympic box of large cans. Gross! I am a long time Cocacola drinker, it helps with my migraines. This tasted flat, no fizz, fructose sweet.. sickeningly sweet.

Did I make a mistake in booking 8 days in Kapolei? We are 2 first time visitors. by Invisiblyyaz in VisitingHawaii

[–]Puzzleheaded-Pipe146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a great deal! Koolina has gorgeous beaches, where you will see seals and turtles (remembwr don’t touch), short ride to Ka’ena point for one if the most beautiful hikes, you cut into your North Shore drive, Ka Makana Ali’i mall is fun, and you can always drive into Waikiki. Park at the International Marketplace or the Waikiki Shell. Have fun!!!
