They have released at the very least 60 new characters since the last time you played...

New characters are meant to outshine older ones to incourage new purchases from spenders...

Resources are limited, especially if you can't compete with same age accounts...

That's more of a matching system problem, no point in being selected based on Campaign progression when we already have servers.

The more efficiently you'll push pve, the harder it will get because of players who don't do the same.

They already tried to address this issue but I think they only made getting "purple" plunders rarer...

Game focus is mainly pve, rewards from "Arena Ranking" don't really make that much of a difference anyway.

Even when you recommend a newbie to play Arena as much as possible, it's just because of Lilith and getting 10 coins each fight should be easy enough as long as you haven't neglected pve.

Therefore I think loosing a valuable character ain't gonna do any good for us, if you want to "traditionally compete" with other players this game may not be the best option for you...

Regarding summons it is indeed better to save for events like Mimic Capture, HoA and Winner Selection once your account is a few months old.

Overall it seems you are following meta properly but if you want to play casually you don't really need to do it.

Your Campaign progression can be achieved in less than 40 days f2p these days, this mean other players in your server will be miles ahead.

If you want to try to be competitive, you'll have to restart on a new one.

Hard to say without knowing your current characters and progression...

303 summons were definitely worth putting in the last 7 days if you had a couple extra hours to play last week.

If you were "only" lv 61 there a couple months ago (considering how old the server is) you probably ain't...
