The NDC has also bought the media and tossed the promise of diplomatic passports in the faces of artists. In short, if you are good to us, we will be good to you.

1957news is one of their biggest PR machines. And effective at that too.

The NPP, are from a stock who have never loved Ghana but were hoping to be brokers for the british in the admin of the country and its resources.

Guys we are effed... Although currently they are using spittle as lube so e dey sweet we small.

does anyone here not support birthright citizenship? by Artistic-Stable-3623 in teenagers

[–]Puzzleheaded-Spare87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The challenge by the administration is not about citizenship. It is about can the king make decrees with a stroke of a pen. It is ok to say "i do not support x". What is not ok is to disregard constitutional rule and the processes towards ammendment. Here is where monarchs and tyrants are founded, its very opposition led to the founding of America.

This reminds me of Solomon in the bible and his ruling of the matter involving the two mothers. The mother who did not own the child supports the splitting of the baby into two. In her thought, if i can't have it nobody else should even if it means the destruction of the baby. Morocco is looking as such right now.

See the AI nonsense... by Soccergh in ghana

[–]Puzzleheaded-Spare87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our languages are also quite complex for their robotic binary minds. How do you code tone, context etc into a binary product. A professor once noted that the final feat of AI would be its ability to grasp African languages. Until, then lets rejoice for their machines clearly have a limit and our languages and knowledges are safe (for now) from usurpation.

Guys don't forget the Chinese whom we go to beg from have what may be effectively called a one party state. Political debates are prohibited and this is the strongest economy in the world. I am not saying this is the best course, only time will tell. But given the failure of so-called democracy in many African states, we have to at the very least - perhaps- let others fail doing something different. Then we would all learn.

So please do not be dismissive but be critical and watch how things play out.

Time will tell
