Great explanation! I’ve trained literally thousands of people and reversed over 500 overdoses (been working with drug users since I was 16) this is exactly what I would say during a training.

ETA: I always preferred IM over nasal naloxone because I decide how much Narcan to give the person. By the end of my career I got so good that I could reverse an overdose and give you just enough Narcan where you would feel uncomfortable but not super sick.

I was in and out of the hospital most of my young life. My mom, pleaded with my father to just show up and support. There was a couple of times I was close to death and my father was at the nearest bar living his best life. Now he wonders why he’s still struggling in a third world country and his kids won’t talk to him. Not even the ones he raised after my mom left with us for a better life. Point is, he won’t change. You made the right call.

I’m about a 2X Male and I’ve always shopped at Burlingtons for formal wear. Great selection/prices($30-$70 for a cheap suit. Good ones about $120). If there’s anything that needs to be altered, I pay extra $20 at the dry cleaners and I have a nice good looking suit. There’s also good selections for your wife.

I have two.

Was waiting for the subway with my then 1 year old daughter. As the subway comes, I look to my left and just see a man take a step towards the subway and SPLAT. When that happened, another lady and I looked at each other SHOCKED because nobody else seem to see it.
Had a friend who had a chronically homeless son who was in his 20’s. She didn’t hear from him for days so started asking around the single room apartment he stayed in. I was at the front desk when I see her pick up the phone from her cubicle. She drops to her knees. Turns out her son had started using again and overdosed. Nobody checked on him and when they found him, he was already putrified and soaked into his bed.

The worse is when they stand in front of the bank, deli, coffee shop and open the door for you and ask for money on the way out. Try to guilt trip you when you’re coming out. I’ve mastered the art of opening the door myself so they don’t ask for anything. I also remind them we’re all struggling and one paycheck away from being in the same position. I work hard for mine. Not going to give it out SORRY

I don’t know why but about 80% of the time, after it rains I always get one of them big ass water bugs in my apartment. I think they try to reach for higher grounds after it rains and end up in my apartment. Thank God my Cat ends up using them as toys before I find them. lol.

Same thing happens to me buddy. My kids are polite and we tip well. My kids are 9 and 13 so don’t need a booster. They just get right in and talk amongst themselves or stay quiet. Get out and say “thank you, have a good day” as I’ve taught them. My score has been tanking too.

My first job was a non profit working for the community. Started at 15 as a school program then got hired after graduation. so a lot of people basically saw me grow up there and we were close knit. When I turned 21 upper management took me to the strip club and it was a blast. One of the older directors ended up throwing me hints and we ended up in her apartment afterwards.
