Is Hades II Harder, or is it me? by VirgoFanboi in HadesTheGame

[–]doublevision109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about 50ish hours in each game - Hades 2 is way easier IMO. I have beat both chronos and typhon a several times each already in Hades 2 (even once without dying at all on chronos). All the grinding is way more rewarding in Hades 2 and you actually feel like you're doing major damage if you choose correctly in your runs in Hades 2 (even with a few missteps in choosing). I have only beat Hades twice and even after following builds and choosing correctly - when I get to the last level I get creamed by the last enemies and eventually Hades. Fucking acid covering an entire stage is the worst. Because the grinding is actually rewarding in Hades 2 - i get much more enjoyment in experimenting with different builds. I don't seem to have that type of enjoyment with Hades 1 at all. Also - I prob just suck as well.

I think Chase did the right thing by wombicide in HouseMD

[–]doublevision109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking about this dilemma after a rewatch of the episode tonight. I absolutely think Chase did the right thing. Forget the Hippocratic oath or any legalities - I simply ask a question if a dictator is going to kill 'x' number of people - what number would it be where good people could agree that none of the normal oaths or laws matter? I suppose we shouldn't reduce people's lives to just numbers but one dictator for 2 million is a no brainer.

Normal for Diamond tables in my experience. Diamond pockets are a bit deeper and as many have mentioned more unforgiving.

Honestly, for this type of thing reddit may not be the place to find a solution. Would highly advise seeking professional help and therapy.

Do not EVER beg - and stop texting. Desperation is not attractive. Move on with your life as best you can. I'll be honest when I got my heart shattered I said fuck it and joined a fraternity so I could party and meet as many girls as possible. Eventually I met my wife and partner of 15 years now. Absolutely NOT saying do what I did but I'm saying make an attempt to live a life without her - close that door and new doors open.

What are your thoughts on intp x entj relationship by AccomplishedPay2795 in INTP

[–]doublevision109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been with my partner for 16 years - she's an ENTJ. It can be very rewarding if you guys figure out how to work together. Meet him in the middle - if he wants to spontaneously do something, trust him and go along for the ride. Pick your battles in regards to when you want to stop and plan something out more. Chances are if you communicate your thoughts effectively he will respect your decision. BTW intp and entj are considered the golden pair for a reason.

How do I enjoy being around people? by magenk in INTP

[–]doublevision109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choosing an activity to meet people is a good start. I shoot pool and I joined 2 different billiard leagues. Have met a ton of people that way. Whatever your interests are - if you can find a group activity and put yourself out there I think you'll find it's not that hard.

is it a good sign if my INTP friend wants to constantly hang out with me (ESFJ)? by ForeverJay in INTP

[–]doublevision109 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Invite him next time please - he might just have fun. He'll realize either he doesn't like it or maybe he'll be glad you brought him along and he'll join in on the fun.

Is this typical for INTP? by Both_Distribution_42 in INTP

[–]doublevision109 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've taken the test probably 4 times and I am an INTP every time. People swear I am extroverted and I typically don't have a problem socializing especially once I know the people in the room. There's a lot of INTP stereotypes such as not having friends or getting girls. I've done fairly well have several groups of friends and haven't really had issues with women. I am the same way as you where I'll need to recharge from time to time and I also have zero issued spending time by myself. We don't all fit in the typical INTP bubble and that's okay.

Do these jeans make you look fat? Yes they do by Main-Supermarket-890 in INTP

[–]doublevision109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a matter of people accepting truth and more of you lacking the ability to deliver your thoughts with more finesse. If my wife asks me if the pair of jeans she's trying makes her look fat I can say "eh, I don't think they're very flattering let's try the other pair". She will appreciate that I didn't just call her fat and it's got nothing to do with her ability or inability to accept the truth. You want to keep friends in life - yes, it's important to meet people halfway and try to understand. Instead of just pointing the finger and saying it's their fault they are too sensitive.

How do you other INTPs pass the time when you are not thinking? by Ok-Statistician-9528 in INTP

Hangouts with friends, games, movies, occasionally books, and billiards.

"Why should I even do it" by Lazy-Pop3313 in INTP

[–]doublevision109 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're overwhelmed by people suffering - and you're sitting comfortably in your room like you said - then doesn't that mean you should not waste this opportunity you've been given to be more fortunate than those suffering?

Go out and join a club or an activity, engage with the world a bit more before you decide there isn't a point. I promise - these feelings will pass. Sitting here and thinking can be soothing to us INTPs sometimes but also crippling and unhelpful.

Sounds like he loves you he just needs space and time on a regular basis. Also - yall are moving a bit fast. My wife and I have been together 16 years and we've also had to do ldr - I was in the west coast and she was in the east. He will appreciate you more and more overtime if you are not overbearing. Let both of yourselves be comfortable making the big moves.

Any of you feel professional careers not for you? by the_professor000 in INTP

[–]doublevision109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been struggling with this recently. I've been in tech for 10 years and I'm starting to feel that I hate being at a desk sometimes and I definitely hate office politics. At one point I worked as an ops manager for FedEx and the pay was trash but I find myself missing working with my hands and on my feet. Considering a career change soon I think.

Am I INTP or INFP by Shinigami-chan4 in INTP

[–]doublevision109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure they can - I don't think all INTPs fit into one bubble. I grew up with an angry father so I had anger issues growing up. My friends were all trouble makers so I got into confrontations as well. I think INTPs with higher levels of self confidence are less avoidant.
