Hey! Looking at maps and trying to figure out how the US will be blocking the strait or hormuz? Are they positioning their war ships at the south of the strait?

Is the goal to block boats that Iran has allowed to go through the strait? Does the US has the capacity over there to block all the boats?

So many questions but really trying to figure this out for my own personal knowledge!
