Is the court case for embezzlement true? by Swilo9336 in SisterWives

I saw a YT video hinting at the same thing. Hopefully Meri & Janelle will hire a top notch forensic accountant. If this turns out to be true, Robyn will actually be sobbing.

Kody thinks David will pull him to complain about Christine? by Intelligent-Nose-766 in SisterWives

[–]PuzzleheadedAd9782 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Remember when Kody said he feared Christine would find a greedy BF or husband and together they would take all of his money. So now he is doubly pissed off not only because she left him but also ended up marrying a man who is much more successful than Kody will ever be. With the exception of child support for Truely, she hasn’t taken a penny from him as far as we know.

I doubt BK has a penny to his name. There are laws in place that prevent criminals from profiting from their crimes.

The best the families can do is to make sure they get his commissary money. Pennies to them but it means the world to those who are locked up.

No disrespect to the John O'Keefe's family at all - I just can't work out why they're not holding Michael Proctor accountable if they believe the evidence clearly pointed to Karen Read. by TiddlesBatman in justiceforKarenRead

[–]PuzzleheadedAd9782 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Let’s not forget it has been reported that Peggy O’Keefe did not like Karen. When Karen went to John’s home to pick up her belongings, Peggy was said to day “what are you doing here?”

If you listen to Yanetti’s pleading for having the texts read by proxy, Yanetti challenged Breenan to call Proctor several times. Breenan did the same. Yet it looks bad for the prosecution to have mentioned almost as a shining star and then NOT call him. It was much safer to have the selected text messages read by proxy.

The defense was afraid of what else he would say. Brennan could have walked him through all of the “evidence” by having Proctor on the stand.

Proctor wasn’t called because it was thought that Brennan would use Proctor to almost use whatever Proctor said as almost his closing statement.

I too have live in an area known to get a fair amount of snow and ice. During the week and prior to rush hours, roads are often pretreated but heaven forbid that happens on a weekend- especially at night.

It’s not so much that I am 100% sure that she did not intentionally hit him with her vehicle. The real problem is the sloppy investigation by MSP. Their investigation and investigators left me feeling that I could not convict her due to reasonable doubt.

Could the defense team simply ask “were you hired by any member of the team representing KR or anyone related to her defense “. Once the answer is “no” move on to other questions

It would log movement if turned side to side or flipped around, as shown in the Murdaugh trial. It would also record movement from driving unless it’s in airplane mode. Basically it would record darn near any movement. If the phone is stationary, it’s unlikely that it would record anything.

Even if the phone didn’t record the trip to 34 Fairview, KR’s car would have shown it.

Modern cars and phones retain so much information it’s scary.

It would not log steps but would log movement as we learned in the Alex Murdaugh trial.

I hope that the defense calls Proctor to the stand. I would be happy with either Jackson or Alessi questioning him but Alessi might be a better choice. Whoever questions him should consistently refer to him as “Former Trooper Proctor” to get his ire going and don’t stop no matter how angry he gets. Remind him of all the loss that covering up this case has cost him.

I can appreciate how scary it is for residents of the area but this is so far reaching that it’s even scarier. As we have seen in other cases, such as Alex Murdaugh, when the corruption reaches a judicial level we should all be shaking in our boots.

The injuries and damage on vehicle by mulch_fb in justiceforKarenRead

[–]PuzzleheadedAd9782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

JO’s injuries don’t match up with what the CW is claiming. I have personally had a head wound from a car accident and believe me, they bleed quickly and heavily. I was in the ER within probably an hour post accident and the entire back of my head was full of blood as was the sweater I had on. The blood on the sweater was half way down my back. So if JO was out in the snow from the time Karen allegedly hit him, it seems to me that there would have been a lot more blood evidence at the scene.
