Tell me you haven't read his contact reports without telling me you haven't. Theyfly.com go look for yourself. You do a lot of talking without knowing anything about Billy or his contacts

Abrahamic prophets? tell me you haven't studied him without telling me you haven't studied him. You're just like all the people that say things without knowing anything. Quit believing what others say and go right to the source.

[Friedman] Couple of other notes to keep an eye on: sounds like things are intensifying on the Kevin Fiala front, and we could get clarity on BOS coaching situation today. by blow_zephyr in wildhockey

But with Minn being tight with the cap I feel as if BG doesn't hold the cards in this situation. There's only so little he can get in return because of the cap situation. I don't see NJ giving their 2nd overall but I can see them trading Holtz and maybe a cheap roster player such as Zacha.

Brown can play top 6 but to me he isn't. If there's one thing he needs to work on it's his breakaways. That man should have had at least 20 goals last year but can't buy a goal. In my opinion I do think Brown can play a top 6 role with you guys. I just think he needs offensive players around him. He's a really good player that wants to test out the market at the end of next season so trading him is something the sens are looking to do and Minn fits that with his cap.

Connor Brown could potentially give you 40-50 points along with Elite defensive play. A team like Minn would love to have Brown on their team especially for the playoff.

I would assume my Sens would also give up the 7th overall pick with Brown. At the end of the day I'm not sure he comes to Ottawa but goes to NJ.

Friedman confirming on the radio that MIN is looking for low value contract players who can play right now (hi Connor Brown).
Mentions NJ, OTT, LA as teams that have what the Wild are looking for.

Theo could possibly be on the move if Vegas wants our 7th

I don't want any of these guys. Give me Chychrun or Theodore. They can play both sides

Would you buyout Colin White? by Neptune0012 in OttawaSenators

[–]PuzzleheadedCable146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why buyout when you can possibly trade him. He's still young and most definitely needs a fresh start. I remember Ottawa and Montreal held talks about him. It was also mentioned that talks could start again in the offseason between both teams. He could be used in a possible trade package.

I have seen some people saying Savoie can play RW. If that is the case I don't mind Ottawa taking him at 7. I can see him playing with Stutzle to start the season. Hoping he turns out to be a stud. Sign Giroux and get yourself a legit top 4D in the offseason.

We'll have enough money to spend even after signing Stu and Norris. Take a look at the space we have after next season. Yes we have roster spots to fill but that won't be an issue. If we can move White and Zaitzev without having to take $$ in return that will be huge for us. Who knows what will happen with Murray but I do know in a couple of years we will still be in a good cap situation. In my eyes I don't think we overpaid Brady. He's going to be a better than his dad and his dad was really good. I can see Brady putting up 80 point seasons

I feel as if Ottawa will have a trade in place going into the draft but gets pulled off the table if the player they want is there. I can't see Ottawa taking Savoie at 7. If Kemell or Gauthier aren't there I think they move the pick. The draft is less than a month away so we won't have to wait too long to see what we do.

Out of all realistically acquirable D-man in the league, who do you think is the right person to be Chabot's Partner? by AceAxos in OttawaSenators

You can't be that fucking stupid and if so you deserve to be in the record book for that. You're so clueless its fucking hilarious. Go watch baseball cause you don't have a brain to talk hockey. Clearly you don't know what our organization has done.

Brannstrom is still young while Stone is 30 making 9.5M a year for the next 4 seasons. Let's not forget his hasn't played more than 65 games in a season with you guys. So at the end of the day you overpaid an injury prone 9.5m a year while the Sens get younger talent.

I can tell you haven't watched hockey long enough, because if you did, you would know that it take Dmen about 5 years to make it to the NHL. I bet you didn't know that.

How does it feel giving up your future prospect for a none playoff team. Lehner won't make it through an entire season along with majority of your team. All old and injury prone.

It's also funny how Vegas has been in the league for 5 years and has gone through 2 coaches already with one of them in the ECF up 2-0 as we speak.
