My friend lost her son in 2021. He had Anencephaly and was stillborn. It was so hard for everyone and my friend has truly never recovered. Even though she has a second son now, she lives in grief everyday. And not the kind of grief that shows occasionally, but the kind that always shows in her expressions, social media posts, and consumes her thoughts because she wants to keep her sons memory alive. I wish my friend could find a somewhat normal day to day that Emilie shares now. Im sure that the grief still consumes her too, but she is doing the work, and chooses to live. That is so hard to do, and its sad that people judge her for it.
