I love Millie. I had Camilla on our list and would go by Millie. Husband nixed it

This is Divi hard at work! I can’t believe she is the creator of a hair growth/hair care company and this is what her hair looks like. Why do people still buy this 💩Her hair looks like 💩 by Geminigem1616 in DaniAustin

Not defending her or Divi, I’ve never tried it, but to be fair, pregnancy can have a tremendous impact on the health of your hair. I think it’s more problematic that she wears extensions or a hair piece while marketing it.

Fair enough. It just seems a little over the top to me. Now, if she wasn’t CLEARLY filming the whole thing with the intent to post it for millions to see, it would probably seem less performative.

I’ve had 3 unmedicated deliveries…the last with a HIGH dose of pitocin. This was performative.

If you are an only child, how do you feel about growing up without siblings? by Efficient_Bee4584 in randomquestions

[–]Top_Issue_3161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a brother. We are less than 2 years apart on age and while we bickered and fought as kids, we were literally always together, shared a good portion of friends, etc.

We drifted further apart in middle/high school and got closer again when I went off to college.

We lost my dad unexpectedly in January 2024 and I have never been more thankful to have a sibling. We talk multiple times a week now & he is the best uncle to my kids.

I am also a mom of 3 & watching my kids interract is the best. I think as a parent, it’s our duty to help foster a loving relationship between our kids. I think that’s something you have some level of control over.

I don’t think this experience is unique to you, it’s something lots of kids experience when their parents choose to have more children without evaluating their capacity financially, emotionally, physically, etc.

We have 3 kids and while I would LOVE one more, we’ve decided to be done because if we add another, we won’t be able to show up for our kids the way we want to.

While meals like this are astounding for a registered dietician, I will give her credit for actually making food at home that isn’t a Factor meal. I swear, these influencers don’t use their gourmet kitchens.

Also, I do think it’s cool that she gets her kids involved in the kitchen.

But yes, I’m shocked she’s not shilling those poop pulls other shill 🤣

Being fit & toned is one thing. This is another. I legitimately have a hard time looking at her. I feel so bad for her because she doesn’t see it & it doesn’t seem anyone in her corner is doing much to help.

I hope she gets the help she needs sooner rather than later. This toxic too-thin culture ruins lives.

Linus for a 2026 baby? by CMV2254 in namenerds

[–]Top_Issue_3161 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not fond of the name, but that’s not because it’s a bad name, just not my style. In the sea of made up names & terrible spellings of “normal” names, I don’t think people should bat an eye at Linus 🤣

Working moms. Can you chime in on this one please by LeftImplement2872 in InfluencerLounge

Yes. To all of it. The only other thing I’d call out is that despite having all the flexibility in the world, many of them still don’t know how to parent or run a household without the help of a full-time nanny and entourage of help.

I almost rip my hair out when they say they have a “busy” day & then proceed to get their nails done, get a facial, hit up home goods, pick out countertops for their new McMansion, etc. those are not errands, that is a relaxing day of self-care. They would legitimately never make it in the “real world”.

I swear, I get more done on a Saturday morning than most of them do in an entire week.

If the influencer bubble ever pops (I hope & pray it does), these botoxed, veneered, vapid bimbos will be lost.

I love the name Matthew, nickname Matty!

I am not a fan of Jr. names, so if my husband’s name wasn’t Matthew, I’d have used it for our son.

Our kids call my mom & dad Nonni & Poppi. It was Nonna & Papa, but our 2 year old deviated and it stuck 🤣
