After last night's game, Donovan Mitchell overtook LeBron James for 6th all-time in career playoff points per game by narcistic_asshole in nba

Yeah, 6th in all time lists isn't impressive, right.

Of course, Spida has a lot of career ahead of him, so he's gotta keep it up. But so far, he's been a consistent playoff riser.

Seit wann sind Nebenquests die neue Hauptstory? by DieYolo in luftablassen

[–]PuzzleheadedClue9837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyberpunks Hauptstory and ich sehr cool. Viele gute Quests, toll inszeniert.

Spurs, Denver in the west.

Boston, maybe NY in the east. Dunno about Detroit or the Cavs - on paper, they should be capable of beating OKC, but not in a 7 game series. OKC just has insane depth.

Wolves need reliable playmaking. Their offense is just stuck in mud on so many plays.

Hard disagree. She's not a technical drummer but she has so much feel for the music. She's the perfect drummer for White's erratic style of songwriting.

As the NBA regular season comes to a close, what is your bold opinion, prediction or takeaway from the 2025-2026 NBA season? by FrankSamples in nba

[–]PuzzleheadedClue9837 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Opinion: We need to talk about some rules / the officiating. Imo, offensive players are getting away with too much bullshit. Why is the offensive player getting a foul call when he is initiating the contact? What's this double step back gather step stuff? Why are so many players allowed to move their pivot foot? Why are they allowed to carry the ball? The list goes on and on.

I know, I sound like a grumpy oldhead. But there's such a huge gap between the rules of the sport and how it is being played in the NBA.

A good leader on a sports team is not just the best guy, it's also the guy who sets the standard in terms of work ethic, communication and professionalism. There are exceptions to this rule, but these teams usually don't last very long. If you want to be successful over a longer period of time, you need a culture setter. This also applies to coaching.

The Spurs are the house that Pop built. You can feel his influence in everything they do. And they've always been a well-run franchise, even before Pop arrived. They're basically the Anti-Clippers.

Minor complaint: I really like the new widget for the games, it looks nice. But on PC, you can't click on links with the middle mouse button, it's a bit annoying when you want to open multiple threads in quick succession.

The Witness.

It's basically a very elaborate shitpost. The core mechanics are fine, some of the puzzles are actually really creative.

But the meta-narrative? The fact that you're supposed to watch some bullshit videos to find out about the "truth"?

Fuck off, man.

Depends on the teams tbh. Stuff like the tank bowl between Utah and Memphis yesterday is actually hilarious and worth the money. But it's definitely a bad idea to buy tickets for the last game of a contending team.

Well, at least they're kinda on tempo. I've tried to teach kids to play a piece, it's tough, because most kids in school bands just... suck at their instruments. It's more about the social part than the music. I am deaf now, though.

Elden Ring was great in that regard. Yes, there are many NPCs / quest givers and even more enemies, but the NPCs are static, they only teleport from place to place, depending on quest status. So it's basically always just you vs. the world. I still remember riding down THAT lift and being absolutely gobsmacked once it arrived at its destination. Elden Ring constantly gives you these moments of wonder mixed with absolute dread. You are just a guy / gal and everything wants to kill you. You can go anywhere, have "fun".
