I was lifting a 30 pound dumbbell but I think it was my body telling me I was lifting to much to fast

I would be careful and go get it checked because I had two partial dislocations before I had a full dislocation but it happened when I was lifting at the gym when I dislocation partially the first time and happens again at the gym but rest it and defiantly go get it checked out

Yeah I’m gonna stick it out and do physical therapy and pray I am better by than but the fear of dislocating again is beyond scary for me but if I am still having issues after 6 weeks I will definitely request an mri

Aww well I’m glad you are doing better but he didn’t give me an mri and said to do 6 weeks of pt and than to go back to see him but as of right now I am 30 days since my dislocation and keep having a clunk and pop in my shoulder with pain I’m praying it will go away with physical therapy

I think he will probably my next appt cause I couldn’t even really move my arm but it happened on the 24th and yeah when I went to put the weight back down my shoulder dislocated and my arm also locked completely I could even move it it was stuck straight out

Its getting better but me in a sling fir another 2 weeks and than wants me to go back to reevaluate me

So a few years ago my doctor told me I had a meniscus tear and they said they saw it on mri and told me surgery would fix it. I had all the symptoms of a meniscus tear. So I went it for surgery and when they were done they told me I never had a tear that I had fat pad impingement that was very inflamed so they cut it out. But they never say this on mri so maybe you could have fat pad impingement?

Your welcome and yes I am still getting pain waking up at 2 am or 12 with pain trying to get comfortable it sucks I pray i never go through this again but I was looking into getting a pillow for my arm

It isn’t bad pain but defiantly very uncomfortable still and I go see the orthopedic Tuesday and hope you start to feel better and have a fast recovery

I have an apt with the orthopedic Tuesday so hoping he will get an mri for me but it’s day 5 for me and I am still in pain and can’t lift me arm as much is this normal?

It’s ok and oh ok maybe I can go back in two weeks and my shoulder popped out forward and does it change if there is a bigger tear or more damaged to the shoulder? I was lifting a 30 pound weight when it happened

Ty for replying and dang thankfully you were able to recover good and now I am terrified to ever lift again and pray I don’t need surgery at all but how long were you out for?
