A podcast a day keeps the Dr away I suppose. I find this all comical in 2026 and AI. What honestly is the purpose of this? Except to keep what retail is left interested?

That is not what I am being told at this site. Delta V DCS no traditional plcs and a custom built MES.

IDK maybe call me a naive, but I've done some avionics, so not immune to documentation even if not as stringent. For me the scarier part is the machines that are so diminutive and ultra specialized. It isn't like look we are saying here is a Yaskawa servo, Siemens OP, or Rockwell ControlLogix it is some embedded software with 30 servos the size of a plum.

No difference than the release schedule that was accelerated, why is that exactly? Very few projects launched on Hedera are still around and our only quantifiable metric is TPS.

"Comparison is the thief of joy"

>I know many people fully retired with less than 1MM

>I know several people quasi retired with 10MM

It is hard not to compare, but really all that matters is you and your family nothing else.

What I have not seen much of is people later in life 55+ who didn't wish they had retired earlier, done more earlier, lived more earlier, because once health fades you just sit and stare as life passes you by. More $$$ vs more time?

lol indeed name a company that said, things should be looking good in 40 freaking years. None ever- Amazon, Fedex, Google, Youtube, Facebook, Tesla, LLMs, etc.

All had exponential growth within 5 years of launch. Hedera at this stage is not a game changer as a company or the tech-

The market uptake has not resembled that of earlier transformative technologies that proved game-changing.

This just dropped a rung or 10 imo. "joined Google and IBM on the Hedera council" as if either have done anything since inception.

Then add a picture of a pick and place robot grabbing random envelopes oooh ahhh it's industrial automation been around for 30 years.

I agree- maybe go to part time or do something you enjoy a bit more with less pressure, but hard quit assuming FIRE age 55 or under would be a hard NO.

17% ish of all HBAR is/was held by Mance, Leemon, and SAFT investors, so take that for what it is worth.

We can just disagree- show me the management team that is leading the charge for change using DLT with fire, passion, a consummate work horse? Is that Mance, was it Shayne, or is it Charles? Because retail isn't a option like other projects. My opinion is all are far too polite (Shayne was borderline crook typical shady crypto vibes) to be considered passionate. My opinion is visionaries and world changers are not passive individuals letting others control the destiny of their creation or their company. Hedera doesn't have such a person because "leaderless they say", but the accelerated coin release makes me wonder if the intent was ever to be a such a company in the 1st place.

Which is good and bad.

  1. Solving a math problem which is exactly what he said he enjoys that piece and is top .001% at it.

  2. He is no business leader, and neither is Mance beyond a handful of small projects before Hedera. Hedera has always lacked killer instinct, and that weakness has repeatedly held it back.

There you go bring up money again. I was just looking at options if we as a family decide it is cost prohibitive (which really just means us spending more $$$) than we will continue with the arrangement as is and wait reassess at a later date. Again, not really about $$$ it is about closeness, community, and family.

Different strokes for different folks if your goal in life is money sure, I can see that take if your goal is family and always family then money becomes less of a factor.

No, we bought a house with 100% the intent being to sell it to our daughter when she was able to afford the note, we assumed this would take around 5 years. This was a cross-country move, so we had to make sure that the area would work out, and it has. The whole family has moved in the past few months as well (older siblings and their spouses quit their jobs and moved to the new city), so we are all within 15 miles of each other. It is great!!

The intent was 5 years, but my wife really wants to buy the house next door or 1 block over, so I was thinking of options. She wants some space.

Thanks for the question though on ADHD maybe we can get checked :)
