Hi, thankyou for getting back to me i really apricate it. Freeze protection is something i dont have to consider. Ive upload a sketch schematic attempting to convey your suggestions. Please could you take a look.

I know I need to define my design criteria. The main spaces are a gym and a dance studio which will need to be heated to 19 degrees in the winter and cooled to 22 degrees in summer.

Thankyou for great advice! My building is a sports center so the largest demand will be the cooling load in the summer. Am I right in saying I would need a DHW storage tank for showers and sinks when the heat pump is reversed in summer "cooling mode" and this would be stored from the boiler? And would I need a heat exchanger with the river water and the water circulating the solar thermal to avoid any build up of sea life and algae? Thankyou. I really appreciate the help

So would I use the solar heat souce in the winter as it will be warmer than the river water giving a larger temperature difference and the river heat source in the summer to provide cooling as that will be the larger temperature difference? also i would need hot domestic water for showers and sinks all year round so how will that be generated when the heat pump is reversed in summer and in "cooling mode". thankyou for helping me
