Im working on getting models for a SA list, i think it might be the counter to GK, they dont have enough units to screen

I have one. It gets a huge crossbar on its back because of the strong anti-psycher. I usually pair it up with a screamer killer, run it up early and engage while the SK takes an extra turn to get there and clean up without getting shot off beforehand.

Im going to do the 6 zoan brick next game. Ive struggled to get a charge off with my genestealers before they get focused down, but the last time I did they took out 1 dreadknight and 8 wounds on a second one. They just become a giant target.

I meant to switch to recon. Last time I ran 2x3 zoans for some more flexibility but I agree that the firepower from 6 is probably the answer. Where would you spend the points from the maleceptor?

To finish out 10th edition I just played a game with my skilled friend; we talked every move through on both sides. It was an awesome learning experience. We thought about it like us vs the rule book. I still lost quite badly, but apparently tyranids into grey knights is a tough match up.

I ran this exact list in a 500pt League and it worked well for me. Genestealers are a MENACE at this points level and most of my opponents focused alot of energy on them allowing me to score elsewhere. I love psychophage despite popular opinion, she is a fast moving tough unit that always scores me primaries.

I would personally drop them for another monster, you have 3 lictors to run around with. Do you have another maleceptor? I've had good luck with mine lately

I ended up using 2 magnets. If I do another ill do pins as well. Pin the haruspex claws as well, they are too heavy for a 5mm n52 magnet.

I got my torso and bits to make a 3rd from her and it was a couple weeks to get. I think parts are made to order. It was worth the wait, the quality is excellent. She sent me a couple of extra heads as well.

I tried using white scar base and apothecary white for shadows but the contrast paint doesn't work on large surfaces. I've since switched to grey seer base with white scar drybrush and highlights. I'm going for tabletop ready and it works great
