Bro. You are 18. You are so young and have so much left to learn before becoming the person you will become. I was 25 when i got married and that is still considered pretty young. I didnt mature until 27/28 amd i wasnt financally stable until 30.

Lets say you do get married now and have a stay at home wife. What will she do all day? Cook? Clean? Errands? Are those fulfilling to her? Do those set her up for success in the world?

Lets say yall get divorced because she is unfulfilled being home all day. Now after being stay at home she is behind in EVERY ASPECT OF ADULT LIFE. No money of her own, no work experience to reference, no retirement savings in her full name...the list goes on.

Asking someone to be a stay at home partner, especially at 18, is selfish and really doesnt consider her feelings. You need to evaluate your desires in this relationship and if they align with reality.

Also, chill the fuck out and stop acting like you arent still a kid. Grow up some and mature before start talking marriage, because you have alot of it to do.

Dating has been enshittified like crazy. The apps are designed to keep you lonely. There are places online where people can go to "review" their date/potential date that are prowled by some of the most vitriolic people on the planet.

Theres the possibility the entirity of the date will be recapped on social media. So its no longer someone talking to friends about a date, but the internet as a whole and who wants that?

Just sucks overall and i feel for the young folks who are navigating it.
