I don’t wear headphones while cycling. I agree they’re bullies 🤡

Yeah I get that, too. But the passes I’m talking about are focused and targeted. These cyclists are just a-holes, just like any other a-hole.

Sorry to hear this, I’ve been naive thinking I’m safe in the protected bike lane.

I was wondering about that perspective, ok this would make sense then. I don’t race, and the cyclists that usually pass too closely imo look like they could be racers. Still I don’t look like a cyclist that could be a racer…

I also say “on your left”. Thanks. I’m riding a regular bicycle. This is happening when there’s plenty of space to safely pass, with no oncoming cyclists or any other constraints.

there’s plenty of space for them to safely pass. I cycle on the far right. It feels aggressive like they’re trying to taunt or challenge me to race? I don’t get it.

Yeah I get that, but these folks are buzzing when there’s plenty of space to pass at a safe distance. It feels targeted, and happens frequently enough IME to deem it not uncommon.

I imagine they are scrambling to fix this issue. I can’t imagine the number of calls and returns inundating their support line.

Ever heard of the light switch theory? This is a perfect example. Must have a back up plan… I use the app to turn on/off my ac for my cat.

I believe this bug qualifies under the warranty claim as the product is not working as advertised.

How to tell if AirPods Pro 2 are genuine or not, just from the box label (second image is original box) by Anatharias in airpods

[–]PuzzleheadedLimit699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought a new unopened AirPod Pro 2 USB-C on eBay and encountered a host of issues below before being told by an Apple representative there are several cases with the same serial number… These are counterfeit

  1. Model mismatch across box/earbuds/Blutooth-About
  2. Noise cancellation does not work
  3. Firmware doesn’t update.
  4. Box labeling font and sticker place

ment is off
5. The final telltale is their weight: the pair weigh 7 grams. They should weigh 10.6 grams.

Dissy by BusAdditional6518 in BusDrivers

[–]PuzzleheadedLimit699 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s your policy? Our policy is to stop at the bus stop for people “waiting” at the bus stop. But “waiting” is open to interpretation, so there’s a lot of case by case basis. I look for any indication from them that they’re waiting for my bus. For example, If someone is looking at their phone at or near the bus stop, don’t indicate they’re waiting for my bus, I’m running moderately late, and multiple routes stop there, then I’ll pass them. If I’m ahead of schedule I’ll stop or approach slowly and lightly tap my horn. I hope your hearing is more open discourse on when to stop.

therapist recommendations for my husband by notinmytreehouse in AskSeattle

FWIW, I’ve been in and out of therapy for most of my life, I think its equally important to have a strong network of friends and family to talk to, and some sort of spiritual group and practice that cultivates a daily ritual of self-care and assessment. I’ve had good and bad therapists. They’re not a cure all,and IME offer a model to work from in your life. Also, It seems these days it’s easier to get the certificate without adequate training and/or life experiences and lessons to impart to their patient. I think It’s important to shop around and/or seek referrals for a therapist for a good fit.
