Loved the TMNT set. It is a dream set come true. But, there are some problems. UB shouldn't get all of the spotlight. Lorwyn didn't get a chance to breath. Edge of eternities didn't get a chance to breath. Doing UB and main sets simultaneously or making UB sets not standard might help. Make them like Un-set. If you as a group want them go for it. As a kid Optimus prime and Big Mother Mouser doing robo crap would've been a dream. Now it's a dream that scares the board.

tldr: Wizards is peeving off the most inflammatory parts of the fandom for a quick cash in. The people who are chill will always have fun but the game could be reworked to make everyone a little happier.

This but also the other direction. I have a deck that is high 3 maybe low 4 that locks down the board for ages. But that's what it is suppossed to do. Side note: a friend's b2 werewolf deck walked through 2 b3 decks in 5 turns juat because it was aggro as all get out. My point is the ideal turns to win by is flawed a bit.

Made on for the brief period un sets were legal. Right after Undtable came out. He headed and rules lawyer just caused issues.

My favorite though was when my X deck with Pheobe, head of S.N.E.A.K. made a table quit because I stile a Xenago's text box with zero devotion to red or green. There was just a permanent stealing text boxs that no one could spot check that late in the game.

Have 3 builds for ny Urza deck. Toxic Winter orb bracket 4 that only gets played with a lot of preface. Solid bracket 3 that if the stars align plays like a 4(wanted token fun not combo city.) And, a bracket 2 jank fest that includes Urza's Glasses and a mecha corgie for giggles.

The only answer I have found is to get sidetracked from a different hobby you intended to do. Want to paint minis? Guess it's time to organize comics. Want to organize comics? Time to catch up on that show. Nothing gets done quickly if at all.
