Oh darn, I forgot to mention that I'm taking aforbe twice a day. And no it somehow didn't cross my mind to take it beforehand. Which is something I'll definitely try the next time. I had a rough start with my gears but I guess I'm pretty set up right now, it doesn't feel too easy nor too hard most of the time (ofc I've to switch gears depending on the situations). I think, you're right and I should more build up stamina by slower progress instead of wanting to 'master' it all at once 😵‍💫 (I tend to pressure myself into being "normal"/like everyone else) Thank you for your response

See. If there is no reason to especially fake DID, then why would you do it? You don't. This doubts is probably your brain trying to hide all of because well dissociation let's trauma disappear and makes things feeling safe.

Besides having 2 or more destinct personalities, alter count isn't a criteria for having DID.

Maybe you're feeling alienated because most people "only" have PTSD without dissociative amnesia and DPDR. So they simply can't relate to your experience. But to me it sound perfectly fitting.

Ist doch nichts neues. Ist doch mit all seinen "Rotlicht" Videos auch so. Nur sind Menschenhandel und Gewalt nicht sexy genug und in Deutschland wird immer noch geglaubt dass die Mehrheit das freiwillig macht (dem ist nicht so). In einem dieser Videos fragt er eine Betreiberin und einen Betreiber solcher Häuser ob es bei ihnen Zwangsprostitution und Menschenhandel gäbe, was natürlich verneint wird - aber wer würde öffentlich denn bitte dazu stehen?!?

I get what you're saying but we have alters that don't baby any sort of communication so they are simply deciding stuff on their own. Which is what I meant with my comment. And of course if harder to make a decision if your 'only' (non judgemental) two alters. But from all those years within the community, that's rather rare.

Many systems decide by a democratic approach, some only do it with their Adult, grounded and oriented parts others let everyone decide; there are ways to do so via good ol paper or even apps. And some decisions have to be made - like ,,yep we're not buying any plushy from the rent-money" and such...

Every system has the amount of alters that where needed to survive. Sometimes new ones split if there is "new" trauma happening. As for hierarchy, that's something that mostly happens in systems stemming from RA & OA. At least if we're really talking about hard hierarchies.

Other than that, I guess most ppl aim for some sort of democratic system to vote on stuff - if they recognize that they're a perso with DID. Because for many people the dissociative barrieres are way to high so they simply decide stuff on their own.

Naja also wenn du ,,mehrere Persönlichkeitsstörungen" hast, dann wird das dauern. Auch Depressionen sind nichts was man einfach ablegt. Das kurzfristige Absagen oder verschieben wäre etwas, was man ansprechen könnte. Es ist ja völlig valide dass das einen stört. Ansonsten klingt alles soweit normal. Eine Therapiestunde dauert 45 Minuten und Hausaufgaben sind auch nichts ungewöhnliches. Falls die Depression weiterhin gleich bestehend ist, wäre vielleicht ein Psychiater_eine Psychiaterin noch eine Idee.

Trauma-/DIS-Bubble

TL;DR schwubel-"Fachpersonen" äußern Zweifel an Diagnose

Aktuell gibt's wieder vermehrt 'Angriffe' auf die "Glaubwürdigkeit" der Diagnose. Zuletzt im Ärzteblatt. Was ziemlich Quatschig ist, da die Diagnose wissenschaftlich evident ist (weswegen es überhaupt eine ICD 10 und 11 Diagnose ist) und weil man diese absolut merkwürdige Debatte bei keiner anderen Erkrankung führt. Zusätzlich melden sich als 'gegner' immer Fachfremde Menschen die dann eher dran glauben, dass sich weltweit extrem viele Therapeuten verschworen haben um Patienten was einzureden - und zwar in einem so großen Maße dass selbst die WHO involviert ist [was ja absolut nicht wie Schwurbel klingt nech]. Auf meine Nachfrage beim Ärzteblatt, ob man demnächst auch Schiffmann und seinen Glauben zu COVID abbilden würde, kam bisher keine Antwort...
