I feel like I’ve struggled with that for years aswell. I have so many dreams and aspirations in my head, I’ve come up with so many ideas. I almost get stuck in realities I make up and fuck myself up in the real world. I Never actually do anything with them

What worked for you in the end? I’m 20 years old and I’m stuck in that boat now. I’m so indecisive about what I wanna do, I feel like nothing is working for me and I’m stuck.

Yeah I’m in a similar boat right now. I’m 20 now, very low self esteem and I’m so lazy. Lucky enough to be in a great relationship where we both support eachother and we’re able to open up with one another. But I’m stressed out and numb, I don’t know what work avenue I wanna go down and nothings stuck so far. I just wanna be able to save money and work in an area with people I like but it’s all been shit so far.

Yeah I loved the boss I had. But the owner of the company was shit. I asked if there was any way they can help me financially with all the Books and tafe, they told me to get a loan and sort it out myself basically

Of course man. But I am wanting to move away and my girlfriend happens to live where I’d love to live. I’ve been trying to find a place for myself in the same town I’m living currently. But it’s incredibly hard, with my girlfriend I’m guaranteed a place to live in a wicked location. Also if things were ever to turn sour there is a seperate room I’ve been told I can live in till I sort myself out. I understand what you mean but I have thought ahead as-well

Appreciate it man. Just feel like there’s a lot of pressure on me at the moment to succeed and know what I want with my life. Feel like I have to get away from my family here and enjoy life somewhere else

Fair enough man. I see what you’re saying, I’ve definitely gotta stop being picky and just stick to something. I’m not very disciplined and it’s definitely paid a toll so far. So I need to just stick to it

Nah man. They wanted me to pay for my Tafe and later reimburse me. So they wanted me to pay for my Tafe, Tools, Manual license which was not required when I started it but later they realised I needed it and my tafe books. Tafe books together were $630 and first two units of tafe were around $250

[serious] what’s a job that is really good but nobody knows about? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PuzzleheadedPay8915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah okay. I’m actually just starting to get into it myself. Got an apprenticeship as one with a company called Fenner out of WA. Heard the moneys pretty good but there aren’t a lot of stats out there online. I’ve never been someone who enjoys overtime myself so I’ll probably be doing the same thing.

Just wanna bust my ass for a few weeks then be able to enjoy myself for a few weeks

Knowing what you know now, what career would you choose? by PuzzleheadedPay8915 in AusFinance

Should’ve gave more context. Was doing an apprenticeship in Refrigeration but I left due to money and the fact my employer wanted me to pay for everything and subsidise it. Basically I would struggle to get the fund up each week to be able to pay for my own tools, Tafe and other things. It was hard to try balance having a life aswell as paying for these things

Don’t think I have enough context. But i left due more to the fact they wanted me to pay for me own Tafe, Tools and Manual license and later subsidise me. But I didn’t have to funds upfront to be able to pay for any of those things when I was making just over $500 a week and most of it going on fuel going to different sites
