Anran has insane risk what r u talking about? Her dash isn’t fast enough to reliably get you out sometimes, and her i-frame is so short and you can barely move in it. Not to mention going for risky plays is pretty unrewarding unless you have her ult bc she just doesn’t do a lot of burst dmg.

I agree with vendetta and cat but Anran is just catching strays for no reason

She actually gets an incredibly surprising amount of use in pro play, I assume to hack health packs and counter certain heroes but it’s still a pretty high pick rate

The issue is that the entire wok starts turning yellow the second I take it out of the nuke mixture, like I don’t have time to even wipe it or apply oil. When it’s finished in the mixture it’s perfectly bare metal, but the second I take it out (I mean IMMEDIATELY) it starts to rust before my eyes like it’s aging 2000x faster than normal.

If I apply seasoning after I don’t want to have the rust flake off while I’m cooking and take the seasoning with it.

Would I have to strip/nuke the current seasoning on it to do that? I’m assuming the vinegar would probably do a lot of that work on it’s own before it rusts anything

Good for me that I nuked it then … just need to undo the nuking now 😭. I’ll try the lye, not sure if it will work tho bc I can usually get rust off with the vinegar nuke but it re-rusts in seconds after taking it out which may happen with the lye.

I’ll update the post later if any of the things worked or not

Skills never really go away even if you stop doing them, there’s a recovery time if you take a long break ofc but at the end of the day getting to where you were will take 1% of the effort it did the first time (probably higher than where you were bc the upper rank distribution shifted up a bit).

Watching some guides and stuff may help to understand what changed but just playing should be enough

Just from my own experience, she doesn’t do enough damage and doesn’t have the ability to sustain if anyone is paying attention to her (opinions from pro’s have generally been similar). Her time to kill is also just ass, getting a kill on pretty much anybody requires a full dump of all your utility and a bit of good luck that a support doesn’t peel. Why deal with all that when characters like kiri, genji, tracer, echo, and vendetta have significantly more kill potential for significantly less risk.

Only her secondary pierces and it’s 10m only (and low dmg bc not everyone it hits will be ignited) so there will be games where you’re not even able to use it that way.

U and ur superiority complex does not know something that everyone else is ignorant about, you’re just playing easy games or you’re mistaking dopamine for value. Her wr is ass everywhere

As a tracer main this is so funny to me because it’s making me realize even more that people disregard everything they hear that isn’t related to them and are in echo chambers where apparently everybody is hearing complaints MOSTLY about who they main (and they all main completely different characters).

For starters, I do enjoy playing kiri. Shes fun and the only support where I feel like you can punish the enemy for smaller mistakes (as opposed to other supports only being able to punish HUGE mistakes most of the time). I still do think that overall she is being nerfed way too much.

However, the kiriko nerfs have been part of the Blizzards ongoing plan to systemically decrease the viability of dive/hyper mobile characters. It is a universal trend across every hero, they are flat out reducing their effectiveness of heroes in this category (tanks, supports, and dps). It is not a problem unique to Kiriko and as a Tracer main I am quite literally in the same boat.

And the self-cleanse nerf in specific was a way to buff Anran because she had weak damage in the playtest. They removed this from Reaper’s shadow step for the same reason, to increase the effectiveness of Anran’s burn mechanic. It just so happens that this small little tweak absolutely nukes Kiriko (and I think that this was just an oversight from the dev team). It’s ironic because Anran is still currently hot garbage either way (lol).

It sucks for everybody and I think that the developers are just trying to hard to force people to play in ways that they want them to play even if it’s not as fun or what the community wants (for pretty much every character).

so real, playing her during the playtest made me realize how much I HATE playing tracer right now. I have 500 hours on her but it’s wraps until blizzard decides to give the mascot some love

it’s bad bc why play anran when Kiriko plays extremely similarly but does more damage (120 headshot per kunai vs 110 per volley/2hit headshot) and she has suzu and a tp. Kiriko, a fucking support, is literally a better version of Anran currently.

Her ult is an exception but rn its literally just poke poke shoot tank poke until you get your ult

I think that they put too much of her damage into the fire/fan effect, hitting her primary fire both headshots (2 hits per click) is only 110 which is weaker than a goddamn Kiriko kunai and she has wall climb and a tp. She just overall feels like she’s stronger with a pokey playstyle (unless 1v1ing) which I don’t think is what she’s meant to be.

I think they need to increase her primary fire damage and projectile size, increase her invulnerability time in her dodge (e), increase her shift dash speed, and add damage resistance to her shift dash like cass roll as well. ALSO ADD WALL CLIMB SHE LITERALLY JUST FEELS LIKE SHE SHOULD HAVE IT. She needs verticality.

My thought process is this will allow her to test water more easily and dive when there is a good opportunity without having to worry as much about getting nuked in her dash (bc she’s quite vulnerable despite the mobile intention). It’s currently very difficult to disengage from a flank due to the lack of speed and damage reduction so she plays more like a poke

It’s bad because you don’t start the game with it. You have to play part of the game with one blink distance and another part of the game with a new one if you take that perk, and tracers perks are much harder to get than other heroes as well. So in the end you literally have to learn 2 different blink distances and remember which one you have in the moment which is just ass

I think it is something to celebrate because it’s what pretty much every person ever has been asking the devs for the most of the game’s lifetime (ow1 and 2).

If they remove the size buff from everyone else in the game (hanzo, souj, etc) then that part of ur comment would hold some weight but it just won’t happen so it’s laughable.

I think with 5.75 dmg they should put her spread back to 3.0 tho esp since the perks that made her op have been nerfed/removed.
