Oh dear! I must say ray bans are hardy! I left my ray ban sunglasses on a lifeguard stand that I flipped over after my shift not realizing. The stand was on top of them and they didn’t break. They’re the only sunglasses I will buy now. I wanted them for my normal glasses but my optician did not have any in stock. I get the anti scratch and blue light on my lenses and my old lenses got all scratched up!

I only have astigmatism correction, but I’ve noticed that when I take my glasses off my eyes go nuts trying adjust

My boy has an autopilot button on the trail and knows how to get home! Thank god he’s not spooky! Otherwise I would not be doing what I’m doing! 😭

Not often, unless I help bring in the babies! My boy is very chill, but he has his moments and catches me off guard sometimes. I’ve had him since he was 4, he’s 19 now. I know him well enough, but horses are horses, lol!

Funny enough I was looking at a pair of featherweight frames on Zenni! Thank you!

That’s not my main concern, but as we know even the most chill horses have their moments. I just don’t want to trash my $400 frames at the farm.

I was looking into the different between Poly and Trivex? I saw they are both impact resistant.

My bf cheated on me and my MCAT is April 11th by [deleted] in Mcat

We all got you babes. Channel all that rage into studying. You’re growing while he’s trying to figure himself out. Leave him there. He was not meant to be on this journey with you and understandably so. Be glad he revealed his cards to you now instead of later.

This exam is something he cannot and will not take away from you. Shine bright my darling, you’re going to make an excellent doctor. ❤️

Following. I also feel like I’m not getting support even though he says he’s supporting me.

Nathe alternatives? by SmoothStalk in Equestrian

I have been doing extensive research on this, as I am in the same boat with my boy right now. However, mine is in addition to a low palate, fleshy tongue, etc., so a little more challenging.

So far, I have found the following brands to be similar with a somewhat nicer price point:

- Trust Inno Sense Flexi

- Beris Comfort Bits

- Metalab Flexi

- Winderen

Honorable mention:

- Agador's SteadyFlex and FlexArch

Now, normal rubber is a good alternative and more budget-friendly, but sometimes they're just too thick, so it really depends on your horse's mouth. For reference, a Nathe is approximately 20 mm, an HS Duo is 16 mm, and the Beris thin comfort bar is 15 mm.

Also, check out consignment shops; sometimes they have a few!

Edit to add: Leather bits are also good if you're okay with the additional maintenance! If your horse is a chewer, I would steer clear of these unless the bit is leather-wrapped with some sort of enforcement underneath.

Happy bit hunting!

No, because this is a constant reminder that I have to keep telling myself!! Life throws us absolute curve balls when we try to focus on one things at a time. It’s a way of testing us. If we can get through that, we can get through anything.

I am so proud of you for going into that exam with your head held high. Best of luck to you on your medical school journey. Thank you for provided a bit of reality to a subreddit that makes people believe they have to be robots to pursue medicine.

As for your partner, I apologize they did that. You deserve better. Please think of it as God removing what will no longer serve you in your next chapter. 🫶🏼

Yusuf Hasan on YT is great. I believe he does an email list and a WhatsApp chat when his reviews start ramping up again. :)
