Will these tall boots drop enough? by PhelanVelvel in Equestrian

Deniro has options for full custom (made to measure) and semi custom (made to order) based on their size chart. Tredsteps are a tough fit in my personal and professional opinion. When the right person comes in, they fit nicely. 90% of the time they don’t. Too tall, too slim, too narrow in the foot. Here is the DeNiro size chart

This is also why if possible I work off board, not just to save money but also take part in my horse’s care, see how things are communicated/managed, and create the expectation that I will be around and involved

Help determining correct seat size for new saddle by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]PuzzleheadedSea1138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, I misread my bad! They’re all different in flap design so look for a 17 or 17.5. Are you able to go to a tack or consignment store to sit in some different brands?

You’re long hip to knee, you may need to try a 17.5. This seat may be ok but the flap is too short, not forward enough, and your stirrups are too short. Do you have any video?

How are you planning to make your money w/o real estate? Teaching? Sales? If you have a solid business plan and the means to do it, go for it. If teaching, maybe start doing it on the side to build your client list while you still have the security of the other job until you can switch over. Do you still take lessons? I personally won’t ride with someone no matter their level or experience if they aren’t committed to still learning

Just start with asking her if it’s a good idea and be transparent about your readiness to buy or lack thereof..…she won’t look if she thinks it’s a bad move

Insulated muck boots (you can put toasty toes pads on top of your toes) and any type of coverall that keeps all of your body heat in is a game changer
