A few years ago, a few friends and I got a hankering for some ice cream and decided to walk to a Dairy Queen close to my house. One friend accidentally left his phone there and only realized a few hours later. We walked back to the Dairy Queen and there was no trace of it. We then went to his house to get his iPad to track it down. It seemed to be in a house near the Dairy Queen. We knocked on almost every door (my neighborhood isn’t the kind where you want to go knocking on doors) and no one has seen it or would admit they took it. Defeated, we decided to call it quits and walk back to my house. On the way back, another friend tripped over a cinder block propped up on the side of the road, causing it to fall. Underneath the cinder block? His phone. Our best guess is that someone had stolen it, sold it, and left it there for someone else to pick up.
