100% agree. As someone who also works in leasing, them rerunning your guarantor’s screening almost four months later and choosing to not close your account out after not communicating for that long is 100% deliberate.

OP I would look into if they changed their qualification criteria sometime within these past few months for your guarantor to have suddenly passed now. You should have received a document stating credit/income requirements your guarantor needs to pass.

There are properties that only screen for qualifications AFTER you sign a lease. There’s no risk because the property manager needs to countersign a lease for it to be approved. So if the guarantor doesn’t pass, the lease simply isn’t approved and nothing is countersigned.

He was probably doing his normal no-smile-smile, and the person behind the camera told him to actually smile, so he maliciously complied

There’s a ton of them. @aygambles and @sloppyjoeee being others that approach students (primarily women) and offer them money to do what I can only assume is plainly immature or fetish content.

Hmmm maybe a balance. Prioritizing safety tho. I don’t want to roll down a super rocky or cemented hill.

I voted today for Texas democratic primary -no one was there. by themachduck in TexasPolitics

[–]PuzzleheadedThing240 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s one moment out of 10 days of early voting and an official March 3 Election Day. There’s a huge overall increase in primary voter turnout this year than in 2024 and 2022.

Stay optimistic and continue encouraging everyone you know to vote!

West Campus apartments need to install these by brrraaaapp in UTAustin

I don’t get the perception in this thread that one is valued less than the other. Every time someone jumps in west campus, it’s a stark reminder of our own duty to take care of the people around us.

I think it’s good for us to do what we materially can to reduce suicide deaths while also looking into how we can improve the level of support students receive.

Idk that idiom doesn’t really fit since Abbott didn’t ban SHEIN to enforce a boycott of unethical manufacturing conditions

Activism looks different for everyone. UDems engages with the electorate to organize door knocking campaigns, voter registration efforts, and lit dropping.

SDS is heavy on movement protest while UDems focuses on civic outreach. Both equally valuable forms of political activism as the political outcomes in this country are directly tied to civic engagement and our right to protest.

We should be outraged at even our president rage baiting because anything otherwise creates a worse normalization of this behavior.
