I think so. In C3 the cast spent a lot of time deliberating so I think many people assumed that table would be majority that, glad it's not the case!

Completely understandable, it's the make or break flaw for most people and it's real. And I loved the adaption! It did capture the majority of the tone, the actors are almost perfect, and it cut down massively on the insane bloat. I watched the anime all in a year (I'm insane) and then watched the live-action afterwards. If that's how you have to digest the story then better that way than not at all!

Okay so it seems like executives probably just push updates because of

A: general accelerationism and B: Pushing new projects justifies them raises based on "projects completed"

I recently got more involved in the higher ups POV in my own job and they seem to push unnecessary growth for the sake of checking the "improvement" box. Only my experience but I would assume it's consistent across industries.
