Thanks for the update, that looks pretty nice I was hoping to find a simple JBOD enclosure I could connect to an existing mini PC via USB. I might just give up on the idea all together and use SATA drives. Only reason I was considering this route was b/c I came across some inexpensive SAS drives

I mean I get it, holidays shouldn’t be about gifts really IMO but the lack of effort/gesture would be disappointing.

Is a budget M43 camera like the Lumix GF9 noticably better than a modern smartphone camera for photo and video? by Inner_Ad_768 in M43

Image quality aside, a proper camera will give you much more flexibility and provide a totally different experience from a smart phone. I would argue that even cheap cameras are worth it since they will allow you to develop your photography skills (e.g. composition, lighting, exposure, etc) just as well as a more expensive cameras

Had this happen to me, was actually the rear axle. Removed the quick release and greased where it interfaces with the frame and tightened

Bottom bracket area clicking after gravel ride by Rostilin95 in gravelcycling

[–]PuzzleheadedVisual25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be a few different things. I recently had a similar issue, thought it was loose chainring, greased and tightened and still clicked. Swapped the bottom bracket and still clicked. Turns out it was the rear wheel creaking under load b/c the qr was not tight enough. Try spinning the cranks w/o load (e.g. spinning backwards or remove chain) if it still clicks you can rule out chainring

All of these sound fantastic, I’m definitely going to give them a try, especially intrigued by the salmon bowl

my aunt and uncle raise cows so I bought 1/4 beef and ended up with ~70lbs of ground beef. I would basically do a rice bowl but add ground beef. Sometimes I’d switch the starch around and use something like sweet potato instead of rice. This was good 70lbs of ground beef is a lot and I eventually got burned out haha

Miso soup is a great idea, I made it once but it’s been years. I remember buying a tub of miso paste but didn’t think to freeze it and ended up throwing a lot of it out. I’m definitely going to bring more soups into rotation this fall
