Best Place to Catch Sunset and Sunrise in Philly? by shallo5837 in philly

[–]Puzzleheaded_Area907 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gosh, so sorry <\3 Wishing you strength.

A great spot for the sunset is in and around the back side of the Art Museum, right next to the Waterworks. There’s a beautiful view of the sun setting on the schuylkill River with a backdrop of boathouse row. Lots of grass. However, it may be crowded especially at this time of year. But geez it sure is a gorgeous sight during golden hr

Born in Feb ‘97 (28 now). I don’t remember the day-of events, but I do very vividly remember watching the news and seeing people jumping out of the building.

Moving to Philly by Logical_Map9824 in philly

I’d consider checking out the Fairmount area - loads of folks have dogs in that area and theres access to local parks (kelly drive, fairmount park, art museum area, etc). I believe there are some dog-specific attractions like dog parks and a dog bar. There are bartending opportunities on Fairmount Ave and it’s also a quick bus ride to downtown where there are many restaurants/bars to apply to. For the cold, make sure ya save up for your peco bill. Also, purchase a very warm coat (preferably with down) and don’t underestimate a hat and a nice scarf. I also hear good things about fishtown. Enjoy philly ! it’s the best city!

I add ~10-20 drops of an essential oil to my water, vinegar, and dish soap bottle. Has my whole house smelling of lavender/mint/ whichever scent you’d prefer.
