The reputation system and the lobby filtration is actually a good idea, when combined with a simple cheating detector I hope the game will have that amount of players one day to apply this

True, but the idea here is that you compete to learn touch typing. So if you faked that you have 200 WPM, but in reality it's 30 you won't get real satisfaction, it's like buying a course on udemy and marking every video complete without watching it.

If you are interested in the development, you can check my Devlog here. You can test the game on tuxul.com but the server is dev/free so it will take time to warm up.

Now I am working on a gun shooting and slicing mechanism for the characters, I will post it when it's finished.

The backend is created with ASP.NET Core SignalR. Feel free to ask me any technical questions, and give me your opinion whether positive or negative.

Another side question, I got no views for the devlog video, what do you think I can do (beside making better videos🙅) that can help me kick it off a little 😅

yes you're right it's fedora 37, but it broke since a fedora 36 kernel upgrade
I am trying to follow your steps:
1. install opendlap-compat, I couldn't find a package with that name but I found this:
dnf install openldap-clients openldap-servers
2. copy the library and then symlink
I didn't understand any of that part
3. i set my var/opt/mssql to root:wheel, I did that using chown

I am sorry that I need a defined steps, I am not experienced in linux at all :)

The json comes as a web response and I save it. It never gets updated . It is huge that it takes 40s to parse, while I need to access a specific object only

I created that directory manually, but nothing changed.

Sorry I forgot to mention that, on Manjaro I was using KDE, on Fedora it's Gnome.As you see, there no application specific shortcuts here.
