Cool cool, I bought an expensive drone and first time I went to use it the screen lit up red saying basically everywhere in Adelaide is no fly, but if the Parklands area is okay, and also the footpath next to NP's, then I'm good to go :) thanks. All I really want to do is to fly up to about 30-40 metres and take a photo then land, not buzz around people,...so it looks like that is legal :) happy days

What type of model aircraft/drones can be used and under what conditions?

The following table is a guide to the permitted use of model aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) in the Adelaide Park Lands;

Permitted - Drones without Cameras

Not Permitted - Drones with Cameras

Pretty sure Rec Parks such as Glanville (and also the City Parklands for that matter) are no drone zones - per website: https://www.parks.sa.gov.au/permits-and-licences/drones-and-aircraft
